Yeah. Is it "trauma dumping," or do you just have so little tolerance for hearing men's problems because you don't normally let them share?

I don't have anything against women in STEM. On the contrary, I think it's amazing when women have a big interest in those fields. I think you hit the nail on the head on why most of the pushback occurs, though. To be completely fair, there are absolutely guys who dislike women in STEM simply because they are actually misogynistic. Traditional ≠ misogynistic, but there are misogynists who are drawn to traditional lifestyles, unfortunately. My advice is that if you want to go into a STEM job, go …

I'd give it a week. If you find yourself thinking about it more than once, I doubt you'll be able to let it go without talking about it. It might be scary bringing it up, but you two really should talk about it. Him keeping it from you, isn't good, even if blocking her was ultimately the best move he could make.

I don't necessarily think you're being insecure, nor do I think this is something to worry about. From everything you said, it truly sounds like he loves you and simply didn't want to worry you, as you are doing. Blocking her/not responding to her email is a very good sign that he is completely over her and wants you. However, if this is something that will always be nagging you, I'd talk to him about it. Something along the lines of, "I don't know why, but I was scrolling on your phone while yo…

If you asked the original question because of your own situation, you should have mentioned that he cheated previously. IMO, it's not bad for people to want some privacy with their phones, even in a relationship, but the fact that he broke your trust before, absolutely pushes this into "red flag" territory. He truly might just like his privacy, but he gave up the luxury of trusting him, once he cheated.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
