If you think the majority of men are digging their own foundations and do their own plumbing, you're seriously funny. If that were truly the case, good luck buying a house up to code ever again. Let's not pretend we don't call in plumbers and contractors most of the time. We do. We DON'T call in housekeepers. The article explicitly points out these men were extremely defensive of their leisure time. That contradicts your assertion. It's not even I'm sure they want praise, but they do get it, because guess what, it's rare for me to take on those tasks without prompting. 1	New Zealand economy would make a $1.5 billion jump, if men did more at home Mmhmm, and making childcare appointments, caring for aging parents, remembering extra-curriculars etc weren't on the list either, and those tasks fall overwhelmingly to women in hetero relationships.
