Same, I'm not extremely against piercing the ears of children like I am circumcision, but I think that it should probably be something the child consents to first. No children of mine, whether they be a girl, a boy, or intersex, will have any part of their body unnecessarily modified without their consent.

Well first off, piercing a child's ear and cutting off part of it's sexual organ is two very different things. Second, I would say that parents should probably wait for the kid to at give consent (12 or 13ish) before they pierce their ears, but I'm not going to throw a fit about it.
