I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be understood that this is a description of society's perception, not hard fact. Oh, and good job with the 'current year' gag.

Woah, now. Video games are mainstream enough that I don't think that fits loser criteria anymore.

At that, point you're stepping into more serious boundaries. Now, you're telling people that what they want to do isn't okay. I don't much like the idea of forcing people to do something they don't wanna do, just to make some statistics look prettier. I can understand doing more to point out, "Hey, this isn't a man's/woman's job. You're allowed to like this," but pushing people to do things they don't want to do just sounds crappy to me.

Is that the one that was specifically on an equal number of male and female people with doctorates or something? I don't believe that one took into account paid time off, but it was legit unlike most info about "wage gap". We also can't forget that wages are a thing that can be negotiated and that's why I don't see anything crazy about a difference of less than 10%. Personally, I'm shit at negotiating for better pay. :c

Thankfully, you can cross off equal pay. The wage gap is a myth created by showing average wage differences of full-time men and women, without taking into account differences in job or hours worked, nor differences in non-monetary pay (paid leave and such). In the US, it's illegal to pay differently based on gender.

I don't think most people consider many or any FWB their "real friends".

It says ...the Plan B is likely to be an ‘old friend’ who has always had feelings for the woman in question. But other candidates are an ex-boyfriend or ex-husband, a colleague or someone who they have met at the gym. so I guess exes are up there, but not number 1.

I don't think the back-up is generally an ex.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
