Never a lead and never relied on looks. You might as well mention people like Joe Pesci, Montegna etc.

I notice you leave out Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise guys who are well known for aging very little and looking a decade younger. not to mention being amazing actors. please name some men who have acted in their 40s/50s solely based on looks.

This kind of thing is luckily far less common in Asia or generally outside the US. Over here the situation is fucked up.

its the US justice system's goal to keep as many people in prison for as long as possible. prison is profit and free labor.

And no one thinks China made it and spread it to hurt the US economy. Well unless you're a delusional liar. And think no other country in the world matters, which is exactly what a lot of arrogant Republicans and Americans do.

Da, comrade. Actually I take that back about Italian cars. An old Fiat is also a very reliable beast.

Correct. Or an old Merc. Overengineered, overbuilt tanks. Audi's with full manual Quattro (not the gears, the 4wh drive system) are fantastic - you will never slide and crash in them. Not so in the newer electronic Quattro.

Car cost - $100 Import duties - $5000!

Or German/Italian/British. Older American cars are rust bucket death traps with the handling characteristics of a drunk sloth. Older French cars on the other hand are built to last forever. As is a Lada.

This is a full scale gym, the only thing you're missing is a squat rack which is also not that expensive. Honestly, 99% of people who need to get fit don't need any of this - you just need bodyweight exercises, esp joint mobility, and healthy eating, not fad diets.

The brain teaser questions are pointless. Google figured it out as well and stopped asking them a long time ago. They don't show how people think. They show how glib someone is and if they've rehearsed this type of qn. Asking someone 'how would you run this business', 'what are the top 5 things you think matter' etc show how someone thinks and how smart they are, in the context of the business. You're getting a lot of false negatives and filtering them on your bias and think that the process is …

Only in the US, and maybe UK and some other Western countries. Women and family culture isn't as bad in other places.

Even if any of the comments were not true, which of course they are, and lets just assume that for whatever reason you do indeed want to attract a woman - the last thing you want to do is listen to a woman's advice !! This has been well documented by much smarter people, countless studies etc. Woman have absolutely no clue how any of this works, they'll tell you what they want you to do, which is not what works, and in fact is the opposite. Any guy who actually takes the advice from female datin…

This all depends on what you mean by money. Right now in the US if I have even a minor surgical procedure it can easily cost $10-50k and bankrupt me. I can't get a root canal because it costs $2k. Thats WITH insurance from work. Of course you need money for health but its much much cheaper in countries with an actual healthcare system and not the for profit bullshit scam we have and refuse to vote against. Why do you think so many people retire abroad? Its not a delusion. Not everyone has millio…

Not every country has a healthcare system as fucked up as the US. In fact very few do. And you can get maimed walking down the street. And if I do get maimed and end up a vegetable I don't want to keep on living.

Money is inherently valueless, its a construct. I don't want money or the trappings of being rich. I want a happy content life surrounded by things that bring me happiness and a simple existence, e.g. books, music, memories, and people - good friends, community etc. Also if you have money, or more accurately have a decent wage, and have a stress free life, you will stay in good health and there's nothing more imp than that. I do not want to die in a hospital surrounded by machines and doctors wi…

I'm sorry but this is a very misleading statement - its one of those things that sounds profound but is actually saying the opposite. Its like saying - its better to be hungry and starve than have food that you dont like and makes you want something else. No, of course its not. So yes, being in a toxic relationship is bad, probably worse than being alone in some respects, but it doesn't mean you can't change things. You always have a choice.

You are forgetting to factor in cost of kids as well. Raising a kid, esp these days, is very costly. I'm not saying kids are bad, that's a topic for another day, but raising a kid never used to be a huge financial burden, and still isn't in most of the non Western world, where at least society values are that kids take care of their parents, which people would laugh at here.

Exactly. War crimes committed by the 'good' guys are whitewashed or even justified, like how we call women and children enemy combatants.

People whose parents/grandparents were in military will probably understand this - back then war was much more brutal (not that its fun now), hard, and actually determined a country's freedom (not like today when wars are fought on the whims of corrupt politicians who risk innocent lives - though this was true always to some degree). Those people don't really like to talk about it - its like what Eric Bana's character said in Black Hawk Down. Its not really about brotherhood always either - its …

Yes the US knew they'd enter eventually but remained officially neutral, and only entered the war after pearl Harbor. The whole history of US involvement, dropping nuclear bombs on civilians, which was avoidable according to military generals themselves, etc, is not exactly a proud moment, but of course history is written by victors.

Not just us. Other countries sacrificed a lot more. We only entered the war at the end and profited the most from it. edit - i was wrong. US entered WW2 2 years into it. not at the end.
