That makes me sad. I'm a woman but i sub here because I find much more logic and reason here than I do in say, twoX or trollX. TrollXchromosomes is just the same whiny shit and made up attention seeking stories as twoX but they pretend they are joking. I hate it. I dont think anyone defends rapists here at all. Instead I usually see posts defending the possibility of the accused's innocence. You know, like our justice system is supposed to do but doesn't.

Wow wtf. My husband is Marines and this shit definitely goes both ways. When he was in combat training, there was a group of 4 females who assaulted and raped another female, and at his first assignment there was a female who would get males drunk, take them back to her barracks room, and have her way with them. She bragged about it. I went to the command about it, but with me being "just a spouse" they were basically like yeah fuck off thanks. Husband got largely the same response when he tried…

Thank you for being an attentive teacher! And for teaching music. Its so sad how many schools are cutting their music programs. I learned so much more from orchestra class than just how to play the violin.

I'm sorry for the sometimes awful things you may see in that line of work, but I appreciate that you are there to try to help advocate for children/families.

I completely agree, which is why I said what she did was awful and tragic. I was merely saying that I think a lot of parents can relate to that frustration. Situations like this are why we need better healthcare for both men and women and abortions need to remain legal in the US.

Thank you for posting this. I was 29 when I had my daughter, and I can understand the urge and intense frustration from sleep deprivation. Its one of those things you just never do. I even told my husband (only half jokingly) in a moment of desperation "can't we just drop her at the fire station?" But I have Avery supportive husband who helped me cope. It also turned out I had an iron deficiency I didn't know about which was giving me symptoms of post partum depression. Iron supplements made me …

Not necessarily. If its bad science it provides nothing. A great example is the one study that showed autism was caused by vaccines. The study has since been debunked as a fraud. Yet people still tout it as scientific proof that vaccines cause autism.

Those studies are far from imperial evidence.

Just because they are the only studies does not mean they provide conclusive scientific results.

This is exactly what I came to say. The Australian "study" was 100 people. That is a very small test group, and they said the patients claimed they had been drugged within the past 12 hours. Barbituates (the class of drugs in which rohypnol and ghb reside) don't tend to hang around in the system very long and it is possible these individuals were drugged but enough of the drug had left their system by the time of testing that it didn't pop on a test. The other issue is they state that the presen…

I'm a female. I was raped. I had written out a whole reply agreeing with this post in detail, but nothing I could say seemed sufficient or meaningful enough. Just please know my empathy runs deep for male surivors of rape too.

I agree that's a very good point, and would be a much better example. I just meant that the term pro-choice usually applies to abortion, at least coloquially.

While I absolutely agree that dads get fucked by the family court/system in general, I think this graphic is comparing 2 different situations. A father who doesn't want to be a dad is stepping away from a living child who still needs care. A mother who gets an abortion (which is implied here by the pro-choice statement) is preventing a child from existing in the first place, this eliminating the need to care for it any further. Again, I agree completely that the way fathers are treated is abhorr…

This makes me livid. What a lowlife liar she is to hide her lies behind the trauma that others have actually endured. Screw this bitch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
