Similar for me. She stopped physically attacking me when she figured out i couldn't feel her hits anymore and intensified the emotional abuse. The thing is, i learn fast and turned her ideas right back onto her. She didn't like that at all LOL! So now we're in a state of perpetual cold war.

Stepmoms? My biological mother had several massive complexes and used to attack me with whatever was close by putting me into near comas and at times nearly blinding me. The good thing about this is that when you got into fights in school you couldn't feel the hits. Silver linings LOL. Oh and don't bother asking for help. People will just tell you that you were wrong and your mother was right and you did something to deserve it.
