That's why no one is advocating eating a single macro. A calorie is a calorie. Nutritional value within a calorie differs by macro, and what micros it contains. You're taking 1970's level bro science.

You keep proving my point. It's not about choosing the cheapest form of calories and chugging corn syrup. It's about having a flexible non rigid diet that allows you to enjoy foods you love. This results in mental health, and long term sustainability. What you're advocating is basically like filling up your car with premium fuel, then overfilling it and letting that fuel spill all over the ground. You don't get bonus points for high quality fuel your body can't absorb. It can only absorb so many…

No, it's a shorthand way to explain basic fundamental science concepts. Not basic enough for some though ;)

Because it's not about what "makes sense", but what is actually true. And completely disregarding that a calorie of fat and a calorie of sugar cause totally different reactions in the body, while also stating that the ratio of macro nutrients is actually important, is a glaring contradiction and a massive oversimplification at the same time. Nope, you're confusing calories with nutrition. Simple. It's definitional. Lmfao. It's not the ratio, it's the grams per bodyweight. Based on your bodyweigh…

I just did. It's scientific bedrock. No, blue pill is the broscience clean eating, bad food groups, magical cure all, paleo, low carb bullshit. Ask yourself why every girl you meet thinks white carbs are evil. It's because that is what is marketed to them and they're too lazy to google.

Because you're not talking about calories, you're talking about NUTRITION!!

It can be glitchy, but it’s the best tracker there is. It also has a website to enter food if you find that easier. Pre logging your food the night before or first thing in the morning helps. If you're not discplined enough to spend 10 minutes a day entering your food, what kind of results do you expect. It's the quickest way to a six pack.

Or you are/were not tracking calories properly. There's far more likelyhood that human error and bias influenced your percieved results, than there is you stumbled upon secrets of the universe. For example how do you track your calories? I'm not saying you're lying or making shit up, I'm saying that you are most likely mistaken. The most likely reason you think you're eating more calories is either logging/tracking error combined with you've recomped your body and now have more muscle mass, whic…

Because the mainstream fitness industry is blue pill bro science nonsense, that gets believed because it's what people hear nonstop for decades. You can't sell simple red pill, science based facts. It's easier to believe blue pill myths, for the exact same reason people believe blue pill relationship advice.

A calorie is a calorie. There is no getting around that. You can not eat a caloric surplus on any fad diet and lose weight. Low carb might be more convenient or preferable for certain people, but it is not why weightloss happens. Weightloss will only happen in a calorie deficit, no matter what eating style you adopt. The point being that fad diets will not change the basic facts of weightloss. a calorie is not a calorie, metabolically, neurologically, prebiotically. en eat at a caloric surplus, …

That's some Grade A blue pill bro science. You can eat nothing but "clean food" but if you go over your maintenance level of calories, you'll gain weight and fat. It's not so much the quality of food as the quantity and over all macro breakdown.

Get a calorie tracking app (like myfitnesspal) and a digital food scale. Your weight gain/loss is determined by your calories. If you're gaining weight you are eating over maintenance (the number of calories your body needs to stay the exact same weight) The app will tell you how many calories you should be eating and the digital food scale will give you accuracy. You will measure your progress on weeks. If you're not losing, you're either not logging your food accurately or the calories burned …

IIFYM Want to learn about nutrition, simple, learn about: calories, macronutrients, micronutrients, and fiber. All the bullshit diet fads are magical thinking. If you are losing weight, it's not because you're in ketosis, or eating clean, it's because you are in a calorie deficit. If you're gaining weight, it's not because you're eating junk, it's because you're in a caloric surplus. Track your calories. (Plenty of calorie tracking apps out there make it simple and easy) Track your macronutrient…

myfitnesspal has a site, and app that automates most of the food logging. Auto updates your calories as you lose weight, and tracks your macros. It also has a barcode scanner to help quickly add things.

So a woman either loves you, despizes you or uses you? Seems harsh, but legit.

Our prime minister is a feminist, who picked half of his cabinet specifically because they had vaginas, because it's 2016, so... not great.

This makes much more sense to me, and lines up with what I've experienced personally. The radio silent thing never made sense to me.

Get a calorie counting app (myfitnesspal is the best one I've found, it's free). Knowing how many calories you need and how many you're actually eating is easily the most important piece of the puzzle. Learn about micronutrients (protein, fat, and carbs), micronutrients, and fiber and the role each play in helping you function properly. Learn about iifym/flexible dieting vs clean eating and broscience. Google has all the info you need. Look for power bloks (adjustable weights), and a bench that …

I would say half right. Probably a combo of relieving themselves of any responsibility for situations, events, and personal choices and gaining simpathy/victimhood status. It's far easier to be a victim than to own up to the fact you made some shitty choices that you regret. Why learn from mistakes when you can instead renounce all responsibility.

That's what happens when you ask fundamentalist zealots a reasonable question. Also feminists hate facts. Facts to feminists are like showing a cross to a vampire "Hiiiiisssss"

Bullshiiiiit. She will go back on her word as soon as it "does not feel right" for HER. You can't bank anything about this promise, it's useless. Love this. I've experienced the useless "womens promise" dozens of times and was always shocked at how promises seem to mean nothing as soon as they're inconvenient for what their current mood/want/desire is. The ability to hampster into/out of things like Houdini is impressive and horrifying.
