In that respect I agree. However, I disagree that women independently are encouraging it. I think society as a whole is. We shouldn’t glorify rape and abuse, and many feminist agree with this. Just because a guy believes he is nice and no one will sleep with him doesn’t mean that’s a direct cause of women liking “bad boys.” There’s no proof of that. And most agree it’s men that have toxic masculinity, but it’s not just because men equal bad, rather there is a cycle of, some would call, abuse. Really it comes down to gender roles and the enforcement.
