This makes me think of a tangentially related point... My parents made financial decisions that will ensure my siblings and I are taking care of them when they grow old. Fuck that. I'm going to do it, of course, but when I think back on some of the money that was spent I'm staggered that they allowed it. If I ever have kids, they will be provided for, sure. However, I will be god damned if I sacrifice my and my wife's well-being in such a way as to wind up relying on them to take care of us when…

The rest of Reddit sees what they want to see because they don't want to face themselves and admit that they've let themselves down. This sub contains the framework to breed men. Guys like /u/motivatedcat, the mid-20's mogul pulling in $350,000 a month from so many different businesses you couldn't name them all, bankrolling his sister's med school education so that he can build a conglomerate and monopolize the practice of medicine in his area when she's done, a kid who's own extremely successf…

Berating you IS help. Someone has to call you out on your bullshit. Coddling, holding your hand, "helping?" You won't grow from any of that. I want you to feel like shit. Everyone on this sub who has gone through real life has felt like shit. Feeling like shit inspires change. What did you expect from coming here? A huge circle jerk about how awful women are, and how none of us should try because it's all pointless? That's not how this sub works. You feel like shit right now. It sounds to me lik…

That, right there, is why women pay no attention to you. You don't enjoy anything. You just think things are owed to you. Nobody wants to be with someone like that, nobody. You HAVE to fix that mindset. You're in college. Everything is being handed to you. Every "A," everything. The real world will utterly destroy you if you don't figure this out.

You're 21. Nobody around you, including you, knows a thing about the real world, about life. Of course girls seem basic, they've not experienced anything so far. Know what's more annoying than basic girls having everything handed to them because they're pretty? The biomedical student who gets angry because those girls aren't paying him attention when he refuses to do anything to make himself worthy of their attention.

I'll tell you how to change this mindset: stop being a pussy. Seriously. Stop. Hating women might be the most pussy shit I've ever heard. What, you can't handle rejection? You can't handle pain? You only want to improve yourself when the time/situation is right? If this is true, you don't deserve to improve. You've made women the center of your entire world. You think checking off a few boxes here and there are gonna build the life you want? Son, I hate to break it to you but that's not how the …

I've not yet read a single comment posted in this thread. I'm just gonna throw this out there: "32, something something blah blah, accomplished." Mother fucking say WHAT? Yes, this woman is homely as fuck. I wouldn't look twice at her passing down the street. That said? I've dated and legitimately, legitimately enjoyed far worse than she. But to come right out and say you're accomplished, full stop, boggles my mind. That's the kind of "men just don't like strong women" bullshit women tell themse…

This is a trap with self-help in general. It "clicked" for me years ago. I'd read all of these books, "internalize" so many great ideas yet act on zero. It was actually my brother who showed me the light. He read one self-help book, put its principles into practice and never read another one. He achieved his result by actually doing what is written rather than mindlessly consuming. Good post.

I've ended every single one of my relationships over the past few years. Despite this, I still say the girl left me 90% of the time. I'm not a pussy. I know when someone has cashed out on me. I actually get a sick pleasure from pulling the rug out and ghosting them for a change. Most don't know how to handle being dumped. "HE dumped ME?!" Is a common reaction. Yes, I did dump you. Key is, though, be as non-Chalant as possible. My favorite line is to simply call them up randomly, say, "hey, I've …

LTR, not LDR. Odds are, you saw the girl quite frequently between texts. The danger of texting is making it seem like LDRs are viable. Yeah, texting can work for an LTR where you see the girl each week. It's rare though.

Good, tight post. I'm guilty of frequently making this mistake. I project how I'd react in this situation onto the woman, and admit to having other dates. This will be interesting to test going forward.

A fake breakup on April fools day is only gonna uncover whether or not your girl is an idiot.... Important info to have, I guess.

On the off chance she actually says that and not just thinks it to herself? I say something like, "maybe, maybe not. We can't let you get too cocky." And wink.

But if you're a girl with pretty eyes, hearing a guy say "hm, your shirt brings out the color of your eyes" links your compliment with a validation of her choice in clothing and style that she will associate with you each time she chooses a shirt in the morning. The more you're on her mind, the better IMHO.

Rather than give examples (comes across too canned), why not the formula? Look at a girl you like, notice something small, draw attention to that but not in the way you'd expect. If you can't notice something special, don't say anything at all. You don't HAVE to compliment a girl to convey interest and get her curious. I'm not the greatest teacher, I've just been doing it that way for years and years. I've never read "The Game" or anything, but I've heard it preaches a similar practice.

Beyond the obvious answer (classes or something), mindfulness is key here. From personal experience, just thinking about what you say before you say it will work wonders. You think you're coming across as a complete idiot, but the time spent considering your words is almost always unnoticeable to others. Texting is a good way to prActice. Just type what you want to say, read it back and ask, "what am I trying to say, and is this the most efficient way to do that?" It's hard, at first. But after …

Calling her beautiful does almost nothing, though. She's a woman. Once you've called her beautiful, she knows you think she's beautiful. Compliment something unique. "I like how you've parted your hair today." (Does he not like the way I part my hair every day?) "That dress fits you well." (Do my other clothes not fit me well?). The more you can make her wonder (not breaking if she pushes back), the better IMHO. EDIT: and for Christ's sake, do NOT compliment physical appearance at work. Complime…

I latched on to this one as well. I've not called a girl beautiful in years. Prior to quitting, it was my go to compliment. It's really kind of amazing how awkward women act when you call them beautiful. Way back when the urge to compliment on appearance still cropped up, I used to tell myself "you're talking to her/dating her/flirting with her, she knows you think she's pretty." That always helped push it down.

It makes sense, yes. My goal was to spotlight a natural at everything we are trying to learn here. However, being "natural" implies you either are, or are not. I clearly ask you to become, yet do not provide the resources necessary to become. That's a projection of my learning style. I watch his interviews and internalize the big picture before ways to implement what I watch spring into my head. I recognize others may not learn this way.

This is fair. A blurb will have to do for right now. I'm in traffic. YouTube "How Deep Is Your Love," Blame," and "Outside." This is contemporary EDM music. YouTube Rihanna's "We Found Love." This is where Calvin broke mainstream pop music and brought EDM to light. As a man, Calvin was an unremarkable warehouse worker who made music he liked. He continued to make music he liked until others started to like it too. He then took music many more liked than who liked EDM, and crafted contemporary ED…

Another day, another height post. Why do you get mad? Getting mad is against everything you read here. Getting mad is against every principle that will render height meaningless to a girl you approach. Attracting women boils down to attitude. If looking at a 5'11 woman makes you angry/feel like shit, why are you looking at 5'11 women? Your height isn't why you have no chance, more often than not. Your attitude is why.

Am I? You must have missed the post I made on here about the medical student at my school who failed his Step 1's and shot himself as a result. Google around. You find plenty of third and fourth year med students who burn themselves out, get removed and are left sitting on 350-400k loan totals. Plenty more make it through but do not match. Again, left sitting on that debt. Hence my using the term "risk." Law school? I know that one personally. You're a fucking idiot if you take that risk right n…

I knew I could not be the only one utterly staggered at how different our generation is from that of the 30's and 40's. But is that really our fault? If childhood is where you are molded into the man you will become, what experience in the last 30-40 years could even hold a candle to the Great Depression/WW2? I tend to date in the 5'10-6'5 range (volleyball players...mmm). You'd actually be surprised how many girls on the short end of that scale get upset that THEY aren't the tallest I've dated. It's almost like they believe guys like me only go for tall girls (we don't) and that, since a girl is "tall," I'd never leave her. It's fucking nuts. My guess would be because they have no interest in/concept of societal preferences since they themselves are the preference. If we tend to want what we can't have, and they can have anything, then the general tendency of people to want what they can't have wouldn't apply. They can "want" whatever they want because they are free from that base urge to chase.

Too much of a leap, gender identification is only just beginning to see mainstream acceptance. When I was applying to law school, the fad was to pretend you were gay/lesbian to earn those diversity points. That's a much more acceptable way to game the system, provided you can keep up the ruse.

I agree with this. Being a fat man shows a lack of self-esteem/self-respect. You can't sell a jury/opposing counsel on your position unless you are confident. You can't fake confidence. Bah haha come on, man. Sports does not give you 2-3 inches. The only things that do that are genetics and zero gravity exposure, and zero gravity gains go away.

Height pref is entirely subjective. I'm 6'5 and I swear to god have been turned down for being too tall. It turns out she liked shorter guys.

I'm actually having a blast reading the info here and internalizing it all. I've got plenty to do work wise, this fills the other hours. LOTS of great info here that is easy to implement. There's lots of bullshit, of course, but overall I'm very pleased. This is a fun hobby.

It makes sense, tbh. I've been blocked by more girls than I can honestly count because interacting with me is "toxic," they always come back to wanting sex but don't want to be whores. I've been the super beta guy (I think we all have). That shit suuuuuucks. But I've seen guys like me who can make a girl lose sleep over committing to them as well. Unfortunately, the few I know who have this talent I've known since 6th-7th grade and they've always been this way. I'm genuinely to the point where, …

You're a doctor, right? Cut your lifestyle down to the $50,000-$60,000 level for a year or two. Dump the rest into high yield mutual funds or low maintenance condos. You'll never have the time for a full on business.

Great example of this, actually. Gorgeous, gorgeous Italian girl I went to law school with had only ever fucked black guys. We were all hanging out one night, and she was being a complete bitch. Acting stuck up, you know what I'm talking about. I was a little drunk. She made some snide comment to me, so I ordered a cup of water turned around and dumped it on her. Then, I went back to my night. We barely knew each other. Two months later, we are all in a dark club. For whatever reason I decide I …

Well, you're supposing I went after 125 relationships. Far from it. You don't get up in my number without using people. I can honest to god tell you that it's the ones I didn't care one lick about that loved me the most. I chalk that up to their personal self esteem issues rather than my skill. Although it could just as easily be how aloof I am when I don't care. I'd say I've really been in love with four girls. All four bailed because of how I act after 6-8 months of monogamy. Hardest thing on …

No, you're exactly right. This is how you get a woman to obsess over you. Know how I know? I'll cut the shit with you bro's, I've slept with well over 100-125 girls (lost count). I don't give a shit if you judge. Rushing in to bed lowers your value in their eyes. I'm the guy girls fuck, talk to about fucking, talk about how amazing being fucked by me is, and then run off with other dudes for the real stuff. .....you send 3-4 texts to her one, each one of your texts dwarfs hers. Bro. It reads like you bullied her into coming over. The correct way to go about this is to simply ask her to get together at your place. She says yes? Good. She says no? You say, "alright cool, let me know if you change your mind." And go off to do other things. If she contacts you, you're good. If she doesn't, no worries.

I suppose my answer doesn't change much. Shooting yourself in the heart rather than the head to ensure your brain is capable of being studied seems more "noble," if such a thing is possible. You shoot yourself in the heart? You're gonna feel it. You're gonna have time to think about what you did, and you have a very, very real chance of botching it and winding up trapped in a paralyzed, useless body forever. They took that chance.
/r/TheRedPill18/03/16 07:29 AM

Actually? This is a good one, provided you can hop the psychological barrier of shooting yourself in the eye. I'd imagine that's steep.

For the context of CTE, determines whether the brain is able to be studied. That's what Seau and Duerson did, and what other NFLers will do as CTE begins to take effect on them. The brain is too important in these cases. Most care deeply about helping others even though they are beyond help themselves. In general? It matters a lot. Shot through the temple will likely snip off the nerve endings to your eyes and leave you blind with your eyeballs hanging out, but very much alive. Shot through the …

Studied a LOT about him after his death. You can almost never find a picture of him smiling any more. I'm not sure Robin was Blue Pill. He had extremely serious mental issues. You can't control what he had going on. He was damn good at hiding the less serious ones, but when the big guns came out he made the executive decision to opt out. It may just be me, but I don't judge him in the slightest. Just like I don't judge Dave Duerson, Junior Seau, or any CTE sufferer. I'm betting Dave Mira had the…

Wait, a decade? You were dating her since you were 14-15? Nothing you could have done differently, brother. Keeping a woman attracted to you doesn't come naturally but to only the tiniest portion of us. You needed this experience to learn how to value yourself and keep centered. Let me tell you from experience, even had you given her all of the romancing and whatnot she still would have left you. It's all about balance.

I'm 6'5, built, good looking guy. Girls come on to me, yeah, but not always like you'd imagine. That's besides the point. There was this one time a girl came on to me exactly like a guy would. I was in a bar with a bunch of friends. This larger girl comes over, inserts herself into the middle of our group, looks at me and says, "Hi...." I was totally oblivious. I thought she was trying to get past us (no girl had ever been so bold before). I legit looked at her and said, "Oh, you're trying to ge…

If you don't mind my asking, how old are you? How long have you been seeing adult women? It isn't wrong to be mad, or anything (isn't anger a "phase" around here?). My thought is you're still somewhat new/haven't seen enough of women to understand just how deep this stuff runs. I've never taken them myself...so as far as prep goes, I've got nothing. In general, though, I'd imagine they're a lot like our exams. Prepare consistently throughout the year, always keeping an eye on the test. That much you know, I'm sure. The only REAL advice I can give you is based off of what happened after that guy killed himself. I feel you. Right now, the hope that these opportunities give me is a major part of why I haven't gotten it over with. If they fall through, though? The problem isn't temporary. It's permanent. Although not directly comparable, it's a lot like an athlete who becomes a paraplegic via a freak accident. You're trapped living a life you have no interest in whatsoever. Why do you stay alive? For other people? That just doesn't matter when you face the idea of 60-70 years of misery. It's tough to expl…

I graduated from one of the best schools in the country, too. Law school is the biggest lie on earth right now. I'm not the only law/med/optometry/dental student to consider offing myself. We had a med student who failed his step 1's. You fail step 1? Good luck matching into anything other than family or podiatry. Good luck paying back your loans. I like this. Awhile ago, all of my shit hit the proverbial fan. I had graduated law school but not taken the BAR, was working a good job...then quit because I was an immature idiot. Was spending money I didn't have without care. Few months later, all of my mistakes hit me. And when I say "hit," I mean demolished. The panic attacks kept me from sleeping more than two hours at a time. I couldn't eat, couldn't work out, I was staggered at how much of a mess I had made of my life. I lost 32 pounds t…

I'm in this thread. I'll repeat what I said there: he's on the way out. I apologized for the 7 years she will have wasted. It must suck to realize that is what's coming. Only issue with him could potentially be how meteoric his rise actually is. Doesn't the girl say he started this business just last year? Already taking home $185k? Reeks of scalability issues to me. This post needs more context. The overarching principles are those of "preya," actions that produce the short term, superficial and immediate joy that does not create lasting happiness, and "shreya," actions designed to create a life that is, in total, it's own source of pleasure and therefore never ending. Basically, it boils down to two choices: do what feels good now, and spend your life chasing momentary pleasure after momentary pleasure. Or, do what is not enjoyable now, but that has a long…
