Biblical repentance means changing your mind. In the context of salvation, it's changing your mind from unbelief to belief in the Gospel. "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." Nowhere in the Bible does it say you have to confess/repent of your sins for salvation.
