Everything that needs to be said about this trial, and you did it in three lines. I wish the prosecution would use that in the closing arguments.

I completely disagree that Zimmerman used best practices. Even using his own testimony: 1) Zimmerman ran into the same dark opening that Martin ran into, with Zimmerman's weapon in an insecure holster and with a round chambered in a DA semi-auto pistol. 2) Zimmerman allowed Martin to circle back on him, while Zimmerman still carried his weapon in an insecure manner. 3) He stood too close to Martin and engaged in an argument that erupted into a fight, while carrying his weapon in an insecure mann…

If you use a causation approach: The proximate cause of Martin's death was Zimmerman pulling the trigger, namely: But for Zimmerman shooting Martin during a fight, Martin would not have died. It can be said that Zimmerman had more agency than Martin. Zimmerman's supporters argue that that Zimmerman was entitled to utilize his superior agency to Martin's disadvantage because that agency was the result of a natural order (Zimmerman had a CCW permit, Martin did not; Zimmerman was a permanent resident, Martin was not; Zimmerman utili…

Team Georgie playing the victim card again. 1) Women don't profile their rapists before hand, call 911, get the rapist to run off, and then pursue their rapists. 2) Males brawl, and by the age of 29, Zimmerman should have had enough experience to know not to stand within arm's reach of a potential opponent and make a sudden move. 3) Zimmerman had a concealed weapon and knew he was at least evenly matched with whatever Martin had, few if any rape victims have that luxury. 4) There is no evidence …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
