I 100% agree, but /u/Dmitrisan, who I responded to, did not. Nudity aside, parents have all sorts of quirks in their relationships to their kids that seem odd to outsiders. It's a crazy, special, unique bond.

I remember reading this when it happened. Crazy for me that the two years went so quickly, I'm sure they didn't for him. Normally I CBF'd to read a football article or care about college sports but it was sad seeing this guy's livelihood and passion ripped from him like that.

It was very interesting to hear her thoughts. I'll be honest, I wouldn't have read this if I hadn't seen the video of her getting harassed. I'd be much more pissy with my language and much more obscene with my word selection than she was.

Important but difficult information related to point number one: Don't urinate or defecate either. Basically try to keep yourself in the exact state you are. I know it's difficult, and probably disgusting, but please don't expel anything from or clean the affected orifices. It's imperative that you get access to an ER for this as soon as possible, but it's never too late to try either.

I'm glad you like his music, I can't stand it, but that's awesome that you know what you like. I've seen/experienced a similar thing in much less dire circumstances That's what I was trying to get at in my edit but couldn't articulate at the end of my shift. If it's going on here, it's sure to be going on elsewhere in other ways. My internal optimist is hoping that in cases where there's the luxury of time, the time is taken to do the right thing.

Yeah, going at it as a totally gender-neutral "This is inconsistent" is the least likely path to ruffle feathers. I didn't even want to bring up the snags of modern families (homosexual couples, single parent households, grandparents, close friends, etc) because that's a whole 'nother problem. On the simplest level, it takes two people to make a baby.
