Has anyone seen the tv show mindhunters? About the worst, most evil serial killers and rapists? Well, the show is about the first 2 FBI agents to actually study the serial killers/rapists. What did they all have in common? They ALL had single, abusive mothers. So according to this woman’s logic, we should let all serial killers go because they probably had abusive single mothers. Almost definitely had abusive single mothers

Actually men are the primary victims of DV while women are the primary perpetrators. The data has been clear on this for decades

Seriously….. Most men take care of chores on their own before they meet a woman. Why is it always assumed that those chores are suddenly tons of challenging work as soon as a woman is also living in the house?

The hilariously ironic thing is that, as a millennial, almost every family I ever met while growing up had a dynamic in which the wife/mother wore the pants and regularly berated and insulted the husband/father, if not the kids too. I grew up in a wealthy neighborhood too, where the men worked and made millions while their wives stayed at home. I swear they basically owned the husbands. What they said went, otherwise there would be a catastrophe. The fathers would tell their kids “I’m sorry but …

Don’t hate the player, hate the game: https://www.ojp.gov/ncjrs/virtual-library/abstracts/men-women-and-crime This article examines several possible explanations about why women fear criminal victimization more than men, although statistics show that men are significantly more likely than women to be victims of a violent crime. Some explain women's greater fear of crime as due to their greater likelihood of being victimized by strangers. This explanation is based on a false assumption; crimes ag…

I never said they didn’t feel it. But men don’t view themselves as victims as easily as women do. A man’s threshold for certain feelings and the way he perceives those thresholds and feelings is fundamentally different from woman. Thats why women report being scared to walk home alone despite men being at a greater risk. That’s my whole point. Men won’t complain about being lonely or even identify with it unless they are INTENSELY lonely. Alternatively, women seem to define these things a little…

That’s like saying the idea behind conservative politics is small government and low taxes. It may be true in theory, but not in reality.
/r/MensRights26/01/24 11:01 AM

We’re not talking about feelings. A lot of women also claim that women are oppressed because they can’t walk home alone at night without fear of being violently attacked, while men can. The thing is, men are more likely to be violently attacked by strangers. It may be true that women FEEL more scared, but that doesn’t make it justified or rational. You’re basically just arguing that women have a lower threshold for negative emotions. The data clearly shows men are literally more lonely in the co…

Thanks. Isnt that stuff that has been identified, labelled, removed, discussed, lamented, and reposted? Isnt that fundamentally different? Although I will say, that is the same type of rhetoric. I shouldn’t be surprised, and I’m not, but there’s a different between something that is universally condemned and removed compared to something that is largely praised and upvoted and allowed to exist. Speaks to what is acceptable around here

Nah, they were more than willing to say some heinously bigoted stuff to my face. It’s amazing how racist people are when you live in a recovery house in pennsyltucky. But even the misogynists didn’t hate women THAT much, or even in that way. It was a lack of respect, not a murderous hatred

We already live in a socialist society tho. You’re in the USA right? You do pay taxes, yes? We have all kinds of social programs. Not to mention roads and buildings and bridges and all kinds of stuff. That’s socialism. We have socialism, ESPECIALLY for the ultra wealthy. The government gives 10s if not hundreds of millions of dollars every year to some of the most powerful corporations on earth. We already have socialism, but we need to dedicate those dollars to those in need, not the wealthiest…

I’m not saying I have a better idea. Capitalism worked well for a while. It could have continued to work if certain people weren’t so unfathomably shitty. But perhaps they always will be. I still don’t have a better system. Socialism is something we already have. Maybe we should use more of our socialism dollars for the general population instead of our trillion dollar industry titans idk. I mean…. Isn’t that true for everybody? Oh but wait I forgot, every single aspect of society was intentionally designed by men, each man bearing an equal degree of responsibility for the worst aspects of said society. My mistake. Sorry.

Unfortunately capitalism rewards all the worst, most harmful behaviors and choices. Capitalism will slowly erode society through inequality and dangerous business practices. We COULD fix it, but it’s too late, because the shadiest businesses already own all the law makers, because capitalism rewards shitty, unethical behavior, which is mostly commonly found in the worst types of people

In the sense that women trying to capitalize on attention, pity, and money while actively harming all victims of assault and many innocent men completely destroyed the movement. Even worse, a lot of people no longer take accusations seriously. Sometimes it’s hard to after everything that has happened. It’s kind of a bad joke at this point

I love how she says “they”. Metoo made “them behave like rabid animals”. The bigotry is unreal. Could you imagine speaking that way about any other group? And as if more than a few men in the world are on the Supreme Court and had any influence over what happened? Alternatively, women all over the country abused the metoo movement, causing everyone to stop taking accusations seriously. They did it to themselves. See how that sounds? Not great.

Lmao I’ve never ever heard of such a thing ever. Not from any woman or any man. Never witnessed harassment in a gym and I’ve spent a lot of time in a lot of gyms. I think you might be creating scenarios in your head like many other women on social media

I think 100% of people who are posting videos of themselves on the internet in minimal clothing are doing so for some type of monetary/social gain. It’s nauseating and should be done at home, not in a public gym. That same type of person also probably does sell nudes or just post them to Reddit for free. What about sentencing disparities? Or the fact that men subsidize women by paying over 70% of taxes while women collect over 80% of social services, not to mention over 90% of alimony and child support, not to mention all the DV shelters and stuff like that for women. I think the sentencing disparity fits better though. Women literally get shorter sentences for equal crimes. Straight up. The disparity is MUCH worse than any racial disparity too. Depends how you look at it. By feminist logic, men are underepresented in teaching and nursing professions which is oppression. But using actual logic, there’s a massive sentencing disparity under the law. Worse than the racial disparity, much worse. There are many many many ways. Don’t forget DV shelters or the fact that men literally subsidize women in the USA. Men pay 80% of taxes 95% of alimony and child support and women collect almost all of it not to mention over 80% of social services ar…

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. She’s just cherry-picking very very specific ways that women are or have been disadvantaged. You could reverse it: Name one country where women pay over 90% of alimony and child support to men. Name one country in which women make up majority of workplace deaths. Or victims of false accusations. Or literally ANYTHING that primarily affects men across the world, and there are many. You can’t use those to “prove” that misogyny does not nor has …

Oh BELIEVE ME I understand. My mother is the epitome of what you’re describing. The worst of the worst. And I still see her somewhat regularly. But that doesn’t mean you should assume an entire group of people sucks, especially half the population. You’re only hurting yourself at that point. Get off the internet. You’re probably spending too much time on the internet, where you converse mostly with perpetually online femcels whose only reason for living is creating situations in their head in which they are victims and nothing is their fault. In real life, women are dope. Most of them anyway, same as men. It’s when people get into groups, and the ones who spend all their time online, that they turn to shit. See George Carlin for a better explanation

Nah. I’m fine. I don’t feel badly about it. However, I WOULD feel HORRIFIC knowing I got another human being LOCKED IN A CAGE over…. Touching the clothes that cover my buttocks? Yeah that’s sickening. Have you ever been locked in a cage? I’d much rather have that supervisor grab my ass everyday of my life than get locked in a cage. True, if it were a man, he’d either get his ass kicked, or put on the sex offender registry. But if it were a woman grabbing a man’s ass, well that’s perfectly fine. When I was 19 I had a supervisor twice my age and twice my weight who would regularly grab my ass and expose herself to me. This is a sad but interesting topic. I grew up with a father who fit this stereotype PERFECTLY. Just constantly confused, unaware, dumb, naive, etc. On the other hand, my mother was sharp, mean, critical, judgmental, and above all, abusive. Then, one day in high school, I went to my fathers place of work to volunteer, and I was SHOCKED at how competent and well put together he was. There was a very small study done on men in abusive relationships. 76% said their wife/gf threatened to make false accusations against them if they ever left or tried to tell anyone. Over 50% of those men ended up being falsely accused by said wife/gf. The sample size was tiny but reading it opened my eyes to how men can’t always “just leave”

It’s true that men are something like 25x more likely to murder their partners. Based on the household I grew up in, I can kind of understand why lmao. But the thing is, while we hear about that statistic constantly, we never hear about how women are over 30x more likely to murder their own children. And when they do, it’s always framed by the media as “that poor, poor woman. Imagine what she must have been going through to have to do something like that. So sad”. No agency. No publicity. And ce…

Point 2 is interesting. Have you seen the tv show mindhunters on Netflix? It was beloved yet it was cancelled. I always wondered if that was because it addressed the fact that 100% of serial killers and serial rapists had severely abusive mothers. Mothers raise most of us, so if anything, we’re all displaying toxic femininity instilled in us by our mothers and their mothers before them. Fathers are busy working out of the home most of the day, at least when I grew up

I have an idea. MRAs, create your own Facebook group. Have it be titled basically the exact same thing, with the exact same description and the exact same premise. It will be used to help warn other men about potential false accusers, abusers, and crazies. But everything has to be named and appear IDENTICAL to theirs. I know, it’ll probably get banned, but at least we’ll manage to highlight some hypocrisy and double standards. Men need protection too. Just look at the last pic in the post

For example, I’ve met a lot of conservatives, none of whom are racist. They just don’t want small government and low taxes. If women are better at inclusiveness then why is feminism the way you described? Also, what Serena said is exactly my point; I’d be playing a completely different game. Not entirely true. I cited this new book for an essay I wrote a couple years ago, by some French author. Something like a dozen expert historians verified it, and it said that women were actually involved in most aspects of life hundreds of thousands of years ago. They joined the hunting parties. Like I said, it is the combination of all the above that leads me to believe that men more or less subsidize women in this country. I’m not against child support, although I think the receiver should be required to prove what they are spending it on. Alimony is completely ridiculous in many instances. Either way, the whole picture comes together nicely. Or rather, not so nicely, very discriminatory actually
/r/MensRights19/12/23 04:41 PM
15

The picture becomes a little more clear when you factor in a couple more statistics. Women collect over 85% of the money from social services, and men pay over 75% of the taxes that go into those social services. Also, over 90% of alimony and child support payments go from men to women. Add in the fact that women do over 80% of the spending, and it starts to seem like men are literally subsidizing women in this country
/r/MensRights19/12/23 04:10 PM
19

Don’t forget, women also collect the vast majority of alimony, child support, and social services. Can you guess who pays the vast majority of those? Yep, men. Even better, is men also pay the vast majority of taxes that go into social services. So men make the money, women spend it, AND men literally subsidize women in this country. Aren’t they just so oppressed?

Yup. When I was a drug dealer and drug user the point I was in the ER or ICU once per month, I couldn’t keep the women off me. You do realize that in America we put people in jail before they have even seen a court room. Lots of innocents in jail AND prison. Often times people are forced to plead guilty to a crime they didn’t commit just to get out and home to their infant children

Same can be said for genital mutilation of little girls, if you’re a sociopath. Do you believe in trauma? Do you think trauma is a thing that can have lasting negative effects on a person? Well, what the fuck could be more traumatic than, as a baby, having your the part of your genitals with the MOST nerve endings sliced off by a strange adult? Nothing. My favorite analogy is the Conservative party in America. By DEFINITION, it just means low taxes and small government, just like feminism means equality. It’s right there in the dictionary! That’s proof! So anyone who identifies with the party who doesn’t simply advocate for those things, isn’t really a conservative. But that’s not how it works. Groups, movements, devised up of many people, are not defined by dictionaries, but by their leaders, their rhetoric, their literature, and their actions…

But now, I live in an apartment building full of old people and it is DOPE! They wear clothes, they’re friendly, they use one machine at a time and are super polite about my space and my workouts. If you ask me, prioritizing feels makes for extremely poor communication. The stereotype is that women say the opposite of what they mean in order to get what they want. “You decide, I don’t care” “it’s fine, I’m fine, don’t worry about it”. Stereotypes exist for a reason

I hate that you’re getting downvoted. The reality is that feminism happened for a reason. Women used to have fewer options than men in regards to most of society. That had a lasting impact. Though I agree it does not justify prejudice or discrimination Me personally I can’t imagine being so much weaker and less coordinated. Would have made life infinitely more lame, but that’s just me. I love physical stuff

Wow you seem very upset. This is what I’m talking about man. Reddit should be something we do for joy, not misery and hatred. But oh well. We’re sharing our opinions here. Facts are cool, but in case you havnt noticed a lot of modern research is manipulated garbage full of p-hacking and factors unaccounted for. It’s an epidemic. Not to mention nobody replicates studies anymore (which is everything) because there isn’t much glory/money in it. I know anecdotal evidence isn’t the most meaningful, b…

Get a grip man this is Reddit. No one is here to write a 10 page essay for your education. We’re not being paid for this. This is entertainment. If you disagree you can say that. If you want to provide sources to support your argument you can do that. Hell, you can even try to look up what he’s talking about, or, and this is a crazy one, ASK NICELY for some examples. That being said, the left is absolutely working to hide information. Look at what happened with CoVid. They also teach certain typ…

It’s known as “penis-envy”, in the literature. But it’s not what it sounds like, not literally, at least I don’t think so? I think it means a general envy of the male condition. And frankly, I would COMPLETELY understand that. Think about it: Could you IMAGINE, going to the gym everyday and working your ass off to see such minimal gains? Could you imagine barely being able to do a pull-up despite being in shape? Having breasts that bounce around when you try to run? Being so physically weak, lac…

Bruh he cried over a calendar and pretended his dad was dead when he was sitting right behind him. Yes he’s an embarrassment and yes he lied. Just because he didn’t lie with every word that came out of his mouth, doesn’t mean he didn’t lie. He also was ridiculously disrespectful to the judge in a really stupid way, not to mention our entire judicial/legal system. You don’t respond to the judges questions with questions. He’s a mockery of a human being Also I don’t really know what his political …

I watched the trial. Brett lied his ass off and is an awful actor. He was disrespectful and pretending to cry over calendars. Plus, I totally believe he did what she claims. He seems like the type. I just don’t think he’s a good example of someone who was wronged by the system, since he’s a moronic piece of garbage who was somehow given such an insanely high position in our government. He just doesn’t strike me as a victim, of anything. He got off with nothing

The idea is that they’re preventing their perpetrator from harming more victims. At least, that’s what they usually say, and frankly, it is a good point. If somebody actually committed a heinous crime and is walking free, it’s perfectly reasonable and justified to want to prevent them from committing the same crime again

This is one of those situations where we need a registry. All men need to know this girls name and face so we can protect ourselves

Sad to see this get downvoted. This sub is leaning on the bitter, hateful direction. At this rate y’all are gonna end up like the feminiets

She just wants to feel like a victim. Some people LOVE that more than anything Also, not all women are like that man. You know that. My mom is a crazy bitch too but that isn’t reflective of all women

Wow. These girls have done irreparable harm to ACTUAL VICTIMS. No one is EVER going to take these kinds of accusations seriously EVER again

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
