1	How do I combat the mindset that a gf is only settling for a relationship and is longing after ‘alpha’ past hookups? Some people are like that unfortunately, my first girlfriend compared me unfavorably to a guy she hooked up with previously. 1	It's SO hard not to generalize Hmm, I understand. The thing is I don't think in categories in any other aspects of life, just this one. And I thought that the women I've been interested in were "normal people", i.e. not narcissistic or self obsessed, at least in the beginning.
