Sentences should be identical and false reports/accusations should require mandatory sentencing worldwide. I'm compassionate, not without my own issues and demons, very conscious of fallible human nature, and without going into too many details; there was an agreement of sorts that we'd look after each other regardless of the situation, because neither of us* had anyone else. In my own experience, that's all they did.
