Divorce sucks...I have lost all faith in women and their unreasonable rationale to divorce. After 21xyears of living firet world problems..... Mine started in COVID and here'sher thoughts in my head.......I got laid off, applied to unemployment, I'm going to spend lots of time with a retired girlfriend, walk, , shop, hang out, party, hang out some more, not tell you where I'm going or who I'm with for 12-13 hours/day, enjoy the "single life" while you work your ass off to support me and our fami…

Go no contact...The minute my wife filed for divorce, I went no contact and blocked all SM accounts. It has helped a ton and you can build your own relationship with your kids.

Either someone else is in the picture, there Is the divorce brigade of moms telling her how she doesn't deserve this or that....walk away wife...A total Narcissist who has made it all about her. Not once did she ask me at all how I was or what I needed during any of our challenges...Always about her and what I did to her....

My walk away wife filed on 11-4-22 after 16.5 years of marriage and 20 years together.....17.5 half great years and last 2.5 years of HELL comig out of COVID. No answers, no closure and no feedback. Totally devastating and I believe she had an affair because I make a great living, we did everything together, and we traveled everywhere and we were best friends. Just dead now and feels like someone died to me!

I don't havexthe amount of time but 20 years in and during the Soring of 2020, my wife started pulling away. She became neglectful, passive-aggressive, righteous, isolating and ghosting me on a regular basis. I tolerated it at first for quite a few months and then began to realize something was not right about her behaviors... She kept deflecting back onto me and blamed me for pulling g away. Anytime, I attempted to talk with her about it, she would stonewall, become extremely defensive, and att…

It sucks..This is my first Thanksgiving in 20 years without my wife( who just filed divorce back on 11-5-22 & I was served this past week) and my 13 year old daughter. I came to see my immediate family in another state. I needed to get away from the stress but it blows. Nothing I ever envisioned or wanted, but it is what it is....

It sounds very familiar....Crazy how mentality deranged the women we marry are, isn't it? I will not allow myself to be manipulated again! Only on my terms going forward!

I'm 47 and on the brink of divorce with an ungrateful woman whom I married 16 1/2 years ago, been with 20 years. She had plenty of red flags in her past with forms of abuse but I fell in love, she love bombed me hard, was exotic and sexy as fuck! I also probably justified and rationalized the issues because I loved her deeply. I thought she was at completion with her past trauma, which was very difficult for her and obviously had to deal with over time. For many years, our marriage was incredibl…

Document everything in writing and if she does speak with you record everything on video or audio recordings. Call CPS, file reports and all has to be written statements.....get their advice about possible pro Bono attorneys...

I have had the most messed up 28 months of 16 years of marriage and 20 years together. Covid has done a lot on marriages and see on this thread and people I talk to in my business, women have had emotional challenges more consistently than men. My wife used to be happy, jovial, funny, sexy, charismatic, playful, friendly and now, she has become a total wench who is resentful, angry, passive aggressive and mean! I think she is having an emotional and physical affair but haven't been able to prove…

Don't fantasize about what she isn't but you hope or wish she'd turn out to be. I have done that for 2 years and gotten me nowhere but more pain, sadness and frustration as a result of it. Peace, tranquility and the ability to date other women who aren't as F'd up and manipulative as her is a life savior! Why would you want to go back after you escaped a manipulative and narcissistic person?

You like many of us fall in love with the love bombing, looks, body and charisma of a woman! We ignore the red flags early on but know damn well we should've paid attention to them earlier. Don't beat yourself up at all over this....many of us are in this camp too. The real question is how are you going to rebound and move forward? The pain is mighty and there will be sadness and depression through this but moving forward with peace and strength will help you gain " YOUR" life and control back..…

You're still young and don't let a POS like her control anymore of your thoughts, actions or emotions! She's not that powerful unless you allow her. Give it time and think about all the possibilities you have to go outcand meet a new woman! Don't waste anymore of your life stress about her.

I was offering a little humor but also think more males need to be stronger stand up by placing boundaries and stop being so submissive....As females demand equality what is really the cost of being equal? We're not and society and this pathetic administration keeps attempting to level the playing field but it's not level nor will ever be!

I am convinced that COVID has destroyed many relationships with couples. I know many that are getting divorced due to the lockdowns which only heightened and highlighted the challenges in already difficult marriages. Women, I believe have had a harder time dealing with it. I mentor and coach many couples and the majority of the women are the ones having challenges. Expect the unexpected and if your spouse wants a divorce, don't look back and proceed. The anger, pain , shock and denial will subsi…

You're justifying her infidelity the week you guys agreed to a separation agreement. Co-parent your child and move on....You think she's going to be loyal down the road, when she mashed a co-worker the week you filled for separation. Why are you willing to tolerate someone else's slop? Another dude smashed your wife while separated....Seriously, wake up man!

This could not have been written any better or been a more logical and accurate form of realityin this new era! I was attempting to be positive and engaging but after going through what I've been through the last 2 years and now potential divorce, there truly is no other reward of marriage than my beautiful daughter and all the memories we created as a family. That family will not be together anymore because of my wifesselfiah approach and our relationship being destroyed by my wife's desire for…

Create a characterization list of what you want in a woman in all categories and DON'T settle for anyone. Create high standards and expectations....Don't settle for anything!

Focus on improving yourself first and be as involved with your children as possible. Don't accept your wife's misery or unhappiness and take responsibility. You're not responsible for other people's happiness. You'll get through this and there are many beautiful and loving women who would love a man like you! Stay strong, you're not a victim but a WARRIOR!

It doesn't matter what Reddit or your attorney says. The best advice from an attorney I really liked told me straight. Get a mediator and hope to work out amicably because you're going to owe alimony regsrdless and the judge has the ability to make it easier and you can work it out with your ex in mediation. No attorney can do anything to determine what you'd pay.

Marriage sucks and divorce is a screw job for men! This is coming from a man whose been married 16 years and possibly headed for divorce! Split up all the assets, the house equity, she gets alimony, child support and you're lucky to get split custody if you're a good dad! The 14 years were pretty good but the last two have sucked!"What's the incentive again? You're better off having a children with a woman who wants a kid but not marriage. I NEVER thought I would feel this way but it is what it …

I am not a therapist but mine doesn't seem to be helping either. Your situation is different from mine but what you're stating is her challenge and not yours! She needs to grow up and can't imagine she's in her 40's but depending on you to take care of her.

I read this and copied it from @jillianturecki on Instagram. She is extremely helpful and powerful about relationships. 5 things to consider before you end your relationship... Tired, not seeing any results...Waiting for things or them to change and there is no ah ha moment and just ultimately stuck in this place of uncertainty...I don't know is it me, her and so much uncertainty and indifference.... As hard as it is now, was your connection once great? Yes, are you committed to making it great …
