Just since George Lucas got old enough to think it was worth fucking with the old ones.

My mistake. I thought if you didn't actually go to a cell and await trial, nothing come of it.

Convictions go on record, not arrests.

The men wouldn't get kidnapped, just screeched about online. You're trying far too hard for the sake of edginess.

The headline was evidence, my existing knowledge was accurate. These are both evidence. Had the article itself said something contradictory, that deception wouldn't have been my fault. I was "irrational" because I was not in a convenient place to actually read the article. Even calling it "irrational" is both an exaggeration and too grandiose a term. If you eat a salad and assume it's healthy without verifying how each component was sourced, would you describe yourself as irrational? I WILL assu…

I read the headline, deemed it to be a simple firing based on her opinion, and even confirmed it afterwards. I'm not writing my thesis, here. Seems like you're hung up on me for some other reason.

It wasn't a guess at all. Speaking out against illegal immigration is not a hard rule for Texas teachers. The districts don't have separate rules for that; they're beholden to the state board. Glad you're able to get a self-esteem boost through selective reading and creative interpretation, though. I bet that comes in handy.

I have old knowledge about the rules surrounding firing of teachers. You're desparate to twist my words so you can feel superior.

You're assuming I guessed. I simply correctly recalled old knowledge. Her firing was a subjective decision, which is why it can be appealed at all. The biased board members simply voted her out to save face.

I read the article. My assumption was correct. I know basic state education statutes, sorry.

This isn't about information; I guarantee you that either she's being punished for political views, or the headline is leaving big info out. No teacher would get justifiably fired for reporting illegal students. I just looked it up. I'm right. She can appeal the decision to the state board, if she chooses. She complained that drug dogs found students who were dealers on campus, and the police did nothing.

Hardly. I'm a Texas native, and for a while there was a hysteria that ICE would start deporting Hispanic students en masse. Many staff and faculty just give in to however they feel like doing things, and it's not as if they need hard evidence of wrongdoing to simply fire a teacher.

Remember Jill Stein's crowdfund to do a recount? Found 2k fake votes for Hillary in a single district in Detroit, and they called it quits there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
