2	Yerp It wasn't a guess at all. Speaking out against illegal immigration is not a hard rule for Texas teachers. The districts don't have separate rules for that; they're beholden to the state board. No teacher would get justifiably fired for reporting illegal students. I just looked it up. I'm right. She can appeal the decision to the state board, if she chooses. 3	Yerp Hardly. I'm a Texas native, and for a while there was a hysteria that ICE would start deporting Hispanic students en masse.
