I thought narcissists weren't real. I thought only 16 year old girls on tiktok talked about them. I knew they existed but they were far away from my life. I was wrong. It took alot of thought and searching to figure out what was happening to me

The marriage sub reddit is crazy for things like this. I honestly come here first, never the main divorce sub

She didn't leave voluntarily. I can't keep her out of a living space she never left voluntarily.

Just a heads up. Be careful on JP. He gives good practical advice but he follows it up with insanity. Im not saying don't listen to him. I am saying don't take everything he says as truth automatically.

I always put it like this. When a woman is getting divorced, she sees it as SURVIVAL. what that means is, EVERYTHING is justifiable. She fights tooth and nail because with out you she is on on her own. "I have to act this way to SURVIVE." It is a true mentality switch. Idk if im making myself clear, but not because it isnt true. we dont understand it. Not because we are better, but it isn't our mentality. Im not some redpill dickhead either.

You are exactly right. That's why I said- I am an enabler. No more.

Thanks and I really appreciate it. I wanted us to be better, but something is wrong with her. I'm not saying that to be mean. It's just true and she is incapable of solving it.

I actually installed a keyed lock on my room real quick before she showed up. I told her I dont want her in there and she IMMEDIATELY moved shit around in there anyway. This will be like the first time I've enforced a boundary in years. You need a key to get into my space. I need a place safe from you.

My breaking point was when I realized there was no reality. What I said, my intentions, meaning, and thoughts were all assigned to me. I started writing things down to make sure I knew what was real. I realized I couldn't be the father my son needed if I was so confused.

I didnt even have to read it. No. Do not offer her alimony if you don't have to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
