You shouldn’t have moved out of your house. You couldn’t quickly google what a disastrous mistake that is?

This is absolutely right. It’s done. Don’t beat yourself up trying to fix things. It’s over, protect yourself and your money.

My friend, this is not an easy thing you’re going to work your way out of, but you ARE gonna do it. Lots of good advice given already from other people posting. The drinking part is probably going to be hardest but also the best payoff to figure out to then make everything else better.

This is the right answer. Get a CPA and a divorce lawyer and work through everything finance-related with them

First of all, she does NOT get to “kick you out”. It’s your house too. This woman sounds like an absolute nightmare and it’s not your fault she is wired wrong. People like her are programmed to make you feel bad about yourself. Get away, take care of your kids and yourself but get away from this monster.

This comment nails it. Do not let a person you don’t even want in your life dictate how you feel. Even with the money aspect, “it is what it is” so pay the money but don’t even think about that since you have no control over it. then get back to what you CAN control, which is you as a happy person doing some fun shit

I don’t get why height is such a big deal. Find a nice woman that likes you the person, not you the height (I am fortunate to be tall but I also recognize, like any rational person should, that height is not something you can control, vs something like weight or hygiene etc, so ignore the people that think otherwise)

Your “wife” is absolutely playing into the way your daughter is acting. Don’t be a dope. Understand and accept it, and stop with the mindset of “it’s me”

You’re on a sub called “divorced men”, what answers are you expecting? And also do not get married

What a perfect way to frame this. Great post. If this doesn’t resonate with you, OP, and anyone else feeling in a similar boat, nothing is going to help

Clearly for financial reasons is my take. Would’ve been much better to do it a long time ago

Why are you guys talking to your ex-wives about dating challenges? What do you perceive the upside of doing so to be? Geez

Emphasis on: THE REAL TRUTH IS WHAT’S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Read this sentence. Then read it again. It’s hard to rationalize but this is exactly it. Now it’s up to you to move on and do whatever makes you happy. You need to be happy, that’s all that matters

These kinds of posts are so easy to answer. Don’t ask anonymous internet goofs, get a lawyer who can give you professional advice.

It was absolutely already queued-up, ready to push “start” button on a whim

I’m having trouble following this (the backside jizz part)

Sounds like your ex is a dope that is subscribed to a Facebook “moms group” and also watches a lot of bravo tv shows that morons are easily influenced by and hear “big words” that they try to use. Sorry, it is impossible to deal with dumb, irrational people like that and I feel for you

Stay strong man. Re-read what you wrote: SHE ABANDONED ME. It’s over. It’s hard but I went through it. Do your best every day to keep your chin up and I promise you one morning you’ll wake up and all of a sudden everything feels ok. I promise.

Sorry man there’s just a lot of lingo in your post that - fair or not - outlines the general situation you live in, and it’s different. This isn’t an easy situation for anyone and all I can offer is to do what you say and get away from an abuser and find that good job lined up, and try to provide for your kids as best as you can.

This is the hardest truth but it’s the answer. Don’t give her another second. Get your mind together man and get moving forward

Omg do NOT move out.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
