Get the fact that you have formally requested a paternity test on a lawyers letter head. This issue may come up again in the future. The woman in question can not abrogate the rights of the child. The child has a right to support from both parents. So if she denies you the DNA test, she can not say later that you are the father because you did not object to your being named as such. There is a time limit in many jurisdiction for you to act. Do it.
