So that's our advice? Really? Get married in some hurried fashion so the well-meanikng young guy can have some gal touch his -pee-pee? That's the best that we can do? I didn't see anyone actually say to get married for that reason over there, so I assumed this caricature was meant to disparage this proposed solution. If that wasn't your intention, what was?

Sure, it's definitely historically high. That would seem to be a point in favor of them getting married. Again, what do you have against the idea of this specific couple getting married?response elsewhere

Back in the day of Jesus, this dude would have been married by 14-16 yrs of age Can you source this? I had heard that it was common for women, but not men, to be married around that age. And so why are we still telling guys to run to the altar. Just so they won't have blue-balls? No. Two young Christians with a strong relationship, they were already discussing marriage. Why do you think this specific pairing is a bad idea?

It's not the ideal timing, particularly financially speaking, but I still think it's the best option. Without knowing your exact circumstances it's hard for me to say what's the best way to deal with the situation, but here's a few ideas. Your wedding can be had for a few hundred. You need to pay the preacher and the government fees - the rest are just niceties. Weddings can be done in the family home or backyard. Rings can be $20, delayed, or forgone altogether. Bake a 'wedding' cake at home. A…

we both know we want to get married, the trouble is this; because of school and our circumstance we have no money to do so. Why do you need a lot of money, or to wait until college is over, to get married? I would recommend setting a date, maybe a month from now or so, and have a very simple, very cheap wedding. Until then, abstain.

It's called innocent until proven guilty. He's being punished in a he said/she said situation. It is possible he deserves the punishment - but the system is supposed to assume innocence until convicted based on evidence by a jury of his peers.

Contentment may be more consistently attainable, and more important, than happiness.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
