0	UK- 9 years for child neglect which led to 20 month old baby dying I would hardly call six years in prison "a slap on the wrist". I agree that she should be more severely punished but realistically six years in prison will ruin the life she had. Then the social stigma after what she did will make all her friends abandon her and only other criminals would want to associate themselves with her.
