Imagine arbitrary goal posts holding more value than human connection to a thinking, breathing person. I don't personally believe those goal posts hold more value than connection, but lately society encourages men to value those kinds of goals more than anything else. Likely because its in the best interest of the corporation/state and since only so many men meet the minimum looks/height requirements for connection anyway IMHO

I am taking what I see on Instagram at face value. I'm seeing smiles and trips to parks, etc. I highly doubt that on a platform design solely for people to stage "living the good better life", you would find people not behaving that way though.
