Pakistani here. They burned female teachers alive and made the students watch. Also the school was primarily boys-only. The girls section of the school was for ages kindergarten to about 3rd grade. The targets of the Taliban were middle to high school aged children because in their culture they consider around age 14 to be adults. Also, Malala is a girl and she was specifically targeted.

I never thought being Pakistani would have its perks. I have the option to have an arranged marriage. And I think i'm going to take it. In my culture, the more money you make, the hotter your wife will be and the more of a "respected" family she will be from. The cock carousel doesn't exist in Pakistan among the middle class. And i'm an Econ major going into investment banking. I like to think i'm set. i sure hope i am.
