19	Circumcision is actual physical abuse and we are letting it happen. I'm surprised no ones mentioned the actual origins of this cultural practise. Literally all the arguments in favour of it are just retrospective and completely insignificant. The main reason it took off was because of American doctors in the 1920's and 30's advocated it as a way to stop children masturbating. This was actually the medical benefit they attached it it as well, to stop "masturbatory insanity." Hence there is often a conflation between the medical side of it and cultural side.
