Long before dating app was a thing for me I world go to venues to try and meet women… where there were 30 desperate dudes trying to hit on 3 women.

lmao quoted for motherfucking truth friend. I’m late millennial but if I hear 80% of women 20% of men one more time I might jump off a bridge

Yes exactly that’s what’s always missing in those incel rants. There are plenty of women to go around. You just don’t want them.

Just “slut shaming” isn’t sufficient to explain it. It’s girl logic. OP is saying that if you’re thinking linearly, it doesn’t make sense, so there’s a “bug” in that women are genuinely thinking they do not want to have sex, yet their true underlying motivations take over quite easily. Of course we all know it’s really a feature.

That’s the real answer

Her not working is kinda exactly the problem though. People in general are pretty by the book and judges are just people at the end of the day, by default if you were married for six years judge is just gonna plug the % into his calculator and call it a day, unless the prenup was definitely done right which knowing most people it wasn’t. (Good lawyers ain’t cheap but most people are)

Rough! If she sold the house, isn’t half of that yours? I thought usually those types of agreements were mom lives in the house until kids are 18, then sells and equity is split kinda deals

For real? Feels like I rarely see a smoke show. They’re generally like gay men or relatively mid women. Am I flying the wrong airlines

How old are you? Women have tons of options. In ranking them, having your own place is scored highest, then roommates, then living with parents. “Let’s go fuck in the dive bar bathroom” isn’t appealing to most of them.

That’s why there’s a joke, “What do you call a musician without a girlfriend? Homeless”

Yea I mean especially as you get older there are expectation in place. To at least have a private place to fuck for starters

There’s a fine line between “respectful” and “cowardly”. A lot of guys who claim they’re being respectful, just don’t have the balls. For all the hyperventilating online about how guys worries they’re gonna get cancelled for normal, non-creepy flirting, most women I know are pretty damn tolerant of a respectful bid.
/r/seduction16/10/22 08:37 PM

Most women are approached aggressively all the time so they basically just expect all men to act that way

They fuck women and ghost them. So most women look to avoid

Bro. Stop turning down dates. You have enough going against you as it is. Relax. Just go test people out and see if you like with them. No expectations. If you get a girlfriend, it almost always “just happens” As for what it’s like … first you start hanging out a little. Then there are sleepovers. Then maybe you start hanging out a lot. You have a companion for dinners, drinks, and a partner you have regular sex with. Someone who will be your relief when things go wrong. Your twin flame. You als…

You’re not thinking of it from a biological standpoint. Women don’t approach because they don’t have to and the consequences of being with a guy who isn’t really that into her are too high. Biology enforces this just like it enforces our perpetual need to get our peckers wet. Hence, we have to chase.
/r/seduction29/03/22 02:42 PM

It still impacts psychology and culture… just like how you want to fuck every hot piece of ass that walks by even though you don’t need to.
/r/seduction29/03/22 02:41 PM

It’s not really that hard to understand imo. They have what we want, we are a risk, they are not. Hence, men must approach

Um, go hard and spaz out with your mouth? Rofl op No just no Honestly the number one thing I’d tell unexperienced guys is to chill, take it easy, try to find a girl you vibe with. Then be straightforward that you’re new and want her to tell you what to do to make her feel good. No need to try to impress when you have no skills. Honestly, if you just put in lots of foreplay, eat pussy (watch some non-porn tutorials), and stay hard you’ll be doing better than 90% of guys.
/r/seduction15/02/22 04:29 AM

Congrats. First of many I hope. Don’t fret, try to just relax and have fun. I kind of like to sit at the bar, but any place will do. Keep the conversation light, and make sure to have her talking more than you do with questions, etc. Tease lightly with touch to escalate the flirting. I think it works a lot better to go to multiple places across the date. Like once you finish the first round, walk to another spot. Then get a drink there. Then go for a walk in the park. That kind of thing. Gets th…

Well yea, they hire them because in general men are the only ones who pay for sex, and because a dominant woman is comparatively a rare bird. I feel like you’re describing a pretty unhealthy model of BDSM there whereas my “elders” always drilled into our heads RACK, SSC and so on. Those people aren’t doing it right and are giving it a bad rap. Anyway, I have seen a few winks about being kinky in women’s profiles, but assumed they don’t mention anything by and large because they don’t want to inv…

Foot fetishes are a bit like that. Apparently the part of the brain that processes “feet” has its wires crossed with the part that processes “pleasure” or something like that
/r/seduction16/12/21 02:45 AM

For sure, I hate the idea that kink is mostly some therapy for abused individuals, for starters it’s not true, but also most of the “role models” I’ve had have made a big point to specifically point out that kink is NOT therapy, at all.
/r/seduction16/12/21 02:39 AM

Yes and no. Word on the street is it’s pretty common for men in stressful powerful jobs to hire dommes for pretty much this exact reason. From my own experience male submissive outnumber the number of women who want to top them even if it’s not “standard”. I agree about topping from the bottom though. While that does happen I think it’s rare because otherwise doesn’t it defeat the whole point? The sweet release of giving up control.

Aw damn you’re probably right, I can’t keep track of the times this has happened to me on tinder. I’m rooting for you tho OP

Yup. I knew one girl who got knocked up and she swore up and down she would have said she’d get an abortion before she got pregnant then once she was actually pregnant everything changed. I don’t think you can really take anyone’s word for it because once the situation happens they could easily turn around and change their mind.

In addition to the many commenters who rightly pointed out that unprotected sex with a stranger is a bad idea… … if one were to want to engage in that sort of behavior, one should AT LEAST have an adult conversation about when the last time both of you were tested was, if they are on birth control, and what happens if you end up pregnant. Jumping right in like this girl did was a MASSIVE red flag. A girl tried to hop on me once without even mentioning it, I stopped it to wrap up and I’m 90% sure…

Here are some ideas… Stimulate him visually — tease him with your body, wear sexy outfits, have nicely manicured hands and feet, and so on Initiate — a lot of guys will be caught off guard in a pleasant way if you send him a naughty photo out of the blue, or tease his cock through his pants, etc For BJs — use a lot of spit and work his shaft and balls with your hands … a lot of guys get off stroking themselves so make a fist and work it between using your mouth Ask what he likes and be non judgm…

Mostly good but some I disagree with, I do think people get busy and double texts are fine before you have established a rapport and I don’t agree with giving her your number first, it all depends but I think most women want you to take the initiative to ask for her number and text her, probably splitting hairs though

I have a feeling your grooming (scent, outfits, haircut) and general vibe are off. You’ll probably shrug and say “nah it’s good enough” but why aren’t you getting results then? Most guys waaaaay over estimate how they’re doing there. If you smell or look off you’re going nowhere. Be brutally honest with yourself. Great job putting up numbers but with that many approaches you could be doing so much better. Something fundamental is broken.

Yeah it’s possible but I wouldn’t get FOMO about it. After a few experiences of having a horrible girl directly over when I was over optimistic, I always vet with at least a quick public meeting first.... to be fair dinner is a bit pricey for a first date so I usually do drinks.

Touching in wrong places before it’s called for, overly sexual jokes before comfort is established, asking for a number after saying nothing but “Hi” etc. To be fair some girls like an aggressive guy and it depends on culture but patience is usually the winner

Most girls who have said this to me end up being time wasters. You’ve got to build up some rapport before asking for the meet up, engage them about their interests and ask them questions about themselves. USE GOOD GRAMMAR AND SPELL CORRECTLY ! If you do these things, they’re way more likely to agree to your request to meet up at a specific time and location. If they still insist to keep texting endlessly, maybe the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. That’s your call but personally I really dislike e…

Then it will be harder. Try to find activities you enjoy that women might actually be at, e.g., running or bicycling club. Get some good photos taken by a friend and go on dating apps. See if there are any events such as concerts sponsored by universities in your area. Etc.

Dating adults should not assume monogamy unless otherwise discussed. Sure, I’d say something if I felt like the girl was head over heels for me, but sometimes you fuck and it doesn’t work out, that’s the nature of dating.

Approaching a lot of girls is the right idea. If they are walking away from you you might want to consider working on your conversation skills to engage other people vs. simply talking AT them. Introduce yourself, ask them some questions about themselves, tease/flirt a little bit and you'll have a good time.
/r/seduction16/09/17 11:07 PM

Excuses, excuses. Ask around or use Craigslist. Trust your gut and don't get into contact obligations if you're not comfortable. Or, get your own two bedroom and tough it out for a while while you screen others.

There's no substitute for your own place... Get one, even a crappy one ASAP or expect it to keep hurting. If you don't have a job, make that your top priority ... How do you have money for hotel rooms but not your own place? That said, there's always her place if you're super stuck in your current situation . Just play the longer game and be honest about your situation. "I'd totally invite you over, but..."

That's hilarious man, you got the most important things right today, you had fun and escalated physically. Just keep that tension up and you're gold. Just remember, even if this one doesn't work out, there'll be more, cut loose and escalate and have fun bro.

Cool story. You are right, most guys over-think it and my experience is that when the feeling is right, you don't need anything smooth to say at all (or things just happen naturally). Even quirky humor works out in a lot of cases. As long as you're escalating physically you're golden. Cheers and have fun OP

Please don't do this... that's going from 0 to 100 real quick. As John Cleese said, "why not start her off with a nice kiss"?
/r/seduction06/03/17 03:33 PM

Just keep it light hearted at first and do things like touch her shoulder when you tease her a bit and give versa. If you sit closer together so that like your knees are touching this ratchets up some physical tension too. It's all about a slow and long tease building up to actual sexual activity when you happen to get alone.
/r/seduction06/03/17 03:31 PM
7

Part of it is me not wanting to open up to people immediately I think this is a big part of your issue friend. When I'm ready to ratchet up the "emotion-meter" with a girl (or with anyone, really) I'll share something about my past or history that's vulnerable. (Example: Story about how you got bullied in school.) This is the only way to get other people to open up, unless you luck out -- you have to make the first move.
/r/seduction04/03/17 09:14 AM

You should always try to meet up and if a little flirty texting happens in between, eh so be it. But there's a big risk of miscommunication through text. Additionally, if you are just texting this girl and she never sets something up, she's probably just not that into you. Girls who like you WILL make time for you usually within a week tops. You can check in after a few days to see how it's going but don't be surprised if "oh, I just need a few more days" turns into "well, I'm busy with school t…

Best way to get more/better matches is better photos, no way around it, Tinder is 95% photos based. As for messaging, I suggest a few flirty messages followed up by an invitation to a specific activity and time ("Drinks at Paddy's Pub this Thursday?"). Get their number if they're interested. Otherwise they're likely just seeking Internet validation and you should move on.

It's true that you want to dress for the context of the situation, showing up at a punk show in a suit would be awkward no matter how "objectively" sharp you look, but I wouldn't worry about people thinking you're gay. Hopefully women will understand that you're not when you start hitting on them. Which you should be doing, obviously.

You sound like a legitimately nice guy. Everything will be OK man... why do you feel like you need to be able to "cold approach" to have self worth? You don't need to (and shouldn't) try to talk to girls with headphones on like some clueless poster mentioned lol. Probably because you treat them as some fetishized object due to their hair color and not a human being. Seriously, it's OK to have preferences, but what do you care if "hot blondes" don't click with you and other girls do?

Only one way to find out and that's by saying something but it sounds to me like situations I've been in where I may have misinterpreted interest. Even if she is interested subconsciously it doesn't mean she'll be open to you talking to her. Anyway don't overthink this one too much. Just say something next time you're getting some vibes ;)

Maybe it's just me but I've always had an awful time trying to meet (quality) women at bars and clubs, although bringing them there can be fun. Those are the WORST environments to meet women because they usually have tons of guys hitting on them or just hovering around them blocking your game, and usually they are loud and reduce people to a very superficial level. It's hard to get to know someone. Try not to get too down on yourself -- you at least tried going out, which puts you ahead of a lot…

It definitely depends on your age. I would say to not put too much pressure on the labels early in the relationship, and to have an honest conversation early on about what you're looking for. Yes, this includes the potentially awkward conversation about how much they want to be seeing other people vs just you. If you want a long term relationship you can pick up on clues early on. Does she seem to put more emphasis on going out with her friends vs hanging out with you? Does she want to chit chat…

If you sleep with taken women then you deserve to get cheated on. Society relies on people making ethical decisions to keep the peace. If you help someone to engage in behavior that is hurtful to someone else that's as much on you as it is on them. Sleeping with someone taken is non-consensual nonmonogamy and that's unethical. You could potentially ruin and destroy a relationship. "They're gonna sleep around anyway" is bullshit, sometimes people mess up and make bad decisions and you shouldn't b…

"Women are sluts" is an awful mysoginistic attitude. Of course women love sex and you should confidently go for it when they are giving you the right signals, but don't be a dick about it. Have some ethics. I for one don't condone sleeping with girls who have boyfriends, you don't need that weight on your conscience. How would you feel if your girl cheated on you?

Jack off? On a more helpful note I think the bet thing to do is tease it out with lots of foreplay and anticipation. Don't go rushing in even if she wants it, tease her. Eat her out and try to give her pleasure the best way you can. Even if you come right away if the build up was good it won't matter much. Doing it for too long is uncomfortable for women anyhow.

Interesting post. There are plenty of people who live, sleep, and breath music and don't have any confidence issues at all though. Sure if you are listening to Eliott Smith and thinking about slashing your wrists all the time it will be an issue but come on, how many times have you see women go gaga for musicians? Music is sexy. I don't think "controlling" you emotions does you any good. They always come out in some fashion or another. Might as well learn to embrace them and what they are trying…

Personally I think the easiest approach is actually to be a good listener and get interested in what other people have to say (ask them about where they're from, what they do, what they do for fun, and what their dream are). Then sometimes, you might think of a funny little joke to crack. If you go out you will have to power through some boring / awful people but you can chalk it up as practice and eventually you will meet some people that you actually get along with.

It's intimidating, but can be fun if you approach it like OP mentions, just wanting to be loose and have fun and meet people. It can actually help with meeting girls as well since you can move with a lot more agility than a big group of friends has.

This is what I want to know. Never, ever have been able to make this work outside of something where we had already hooked up.

I agree life is not over after college but meeting and seducing women, all other factors being equal, absolutely does get harder. The good news is that as they get older women get more relaxed about sex in general, but the bad news is that fewer opportunities come up naturally due to spending so much time on work, people pairing off to get married and so on. If someone is wasting away their college years playing video games, jacking off, and trying to bang snobby sorority chicks then of course t…

Yeah I feel like a lot of people here are missing the point. This tip is best used in moderation-- overdoing it is bad for the same reason a bottle of whiskey treats you much worse than a glass.

Hahaha nice one OP. Height and looks help but without any "game" even the best looking man is doomed.

First, follow the usual protocol for being an attractive man (be fit, have nice clothes and hygiene, and have hobbies and interests that you are passionate about). Make eye contact. "Hi, my name is Joe. What's yours?" Flirt (subtle touching and teasing) and talk about your interests. Get their number. Chat a bit. Ask them out (hopefully you have a car). Take them to a concert, or to dinner, or even WalMart. You take it as it comes at your age. Keep persisting through the awkward moments (I know …

I don't like this article. Typical macho bullshit. Author doesn't make any good concrete suggestions other than "send your name as a first text". Duh, obviously you should communicate who you are. I didn't think much was wrong with the original text other than rushing the ask-out in one message instead of keeping the vibe playful and warming up to it after a message or two.

Just talk about what will happen if you all break up and hopefully agree to both be civil. To me it sounds like it's way way late to be having the "Should we be doing this if we work together?" conversation. You guys are already involved. My feeling is that unless one of you is the other's supervisor it is probably fine and happens basically all the time. People might gossip a little at first but they'll all stop caring in a week.

If you like her and you honestly don't care about her other partners then fuck what other people think, go for it. Just make sure the communication around your exclusivity (or lack thereof) is clear so you won't get hurt. I'd be more concerned about the fact you work together tbh but in hospitality work that is super common anyways.

Yeah sounds pretty good I wouldn't hold someone's hand until there was a decent amount of physical rapport in other ways. Definitely introduce yourself people will be glad you took the initiative. Don't take it personal that she didn't give you her number anything could be going on and sounds Iike your ask was fine.

Nice work. I wasn't nearly this smooth when I was in high school. Have fun!!

I still doubt the chance to f-close. Really religious / rural background. Don't think that stuff has anything to do with how desiring she is of sex. Religious, rural girls want to fuck too. wr_erase mostly has the points nailed: I would just add that, as you noticed, women are much more hesitant to get jiggy (kiss, or get fondled...) when their friends are around. For whatever weird reason grinding on the dance floor just seems to be the standard so I don't even count that. But kissing is intima…

Sounds like you're doing fine man. Just keep escalating and stay cool. Everybody makes mistakes, don't sweat it.

Sorta rando but, anyone have experience(s) or opinions on approaching girls at the grocery store? I seem to see a lot of cute women there but what do you even say? "So, I notice you're looking at bread."

That's cool. I have a bar nearby that I frequent, although I'm not usually there 3 times a week. I think I'm just going to have to get out more often...

No such luck. It's not dramatically small (~115,000), but it's centered entirely around the college and it feels weird to have nothing to do with the school that is here.

Yeah I don't disagree and as someone else mentioned, for all we know he could be Cheetos-eating twenty year old in a dorm room that's only ever been with one girl. I was mostly griping about mens' reluctance to escalate physically relatively quickly to avoid losing momentum, and their unwillingness to put emphasis on their partners' satisfaction when they're there.

That's fucked. And I don't mean that you did anything wrong- I mean it's fucked that your best friend is going to live life out as basically a chump for the rest of his life and never know. So paranoid about this these days. I would have told him, but then again my answer to that question is "Yes, I want to know, painful though it may be".

Yeah I think men (especially the nerdier, sensitive types I know) really underestimate the importance of this and when things go south they wonder what went wrong despite the fact that they were so nice and loyal. And they won't listen to advice, either. I try to remain an "uncarved block" but still I think many of my peers could be doing way better in the sack but they won't.... listen.... Men are much worse at following instructions than women.
