Wow you really got me with the conflict avoidance. Can you suggest any of the YouTube videos that you watched that were helpful.

How did you find all of this, do you have a good therapist? Read a book you liked?

I don't want to leave but she refused to see how unhappy I/we are and I have to be the one to do it.

Why? I've seen a lot of success stories here. Life is too short to stay with someone who doesn't want to make it better

Good for you sir. Won't be easy but it's the only way. My real question is how you got 1.2M with 150k salary!?

For me, it's more about weather or not they want to change things and make it work. It sucks to drift apart, resent each other, change, lose libidos or attraction It's another thing for that to happen and not want to try and change. It's okay if that's the case but it sucks. Sorry it happened, hopefully you're make the best of it. I'm 40 and about to be in a similar spot

Sounds like you have a good outlook. It's not ideal, but you're alive. Easier said than receiving but it sounds like you've got a really good life ahead of you. Some small towns in tax-free states probably have amazing lifestyles. Good luck to you

Have you tried therapy? She's definitely not the one but it might be worth trying for the kids and money?

Give it time, focus on yourself and allow yourself to be sad, I'm sure it's part of the process.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
