There are quite a few studies that support it and if you are interested I can link them. But with that said it is important that you consider your own bias and are aware of it. Unconscious bias isn't racist, actions that are based off them or that are caused by them can be. Awareness of ones bias and the consideration that it effects your own actions is key. But your sources are generally considered bias. The archive that you pulled from reference a study that 83% of the respondents were male. So you have to consider how this could scew the responses.
