Ah, there it is. When someone doesn't agree with you, you fall back on gaslighting them by accusing them of being irrational. I guess literally everyone else in this thread is also irrational and you're the only sane one, huh? I genuinely hope you're single and have no children, because you're waving so many red flags it's a goddamn parade.

Feeling bad is not absolution and does not make anything better. He needs to actively do the work to fix himself and his anger issues. He needs intensive therapy to figure out his anger issues, probably for a long tjme. He needs to stop trying to offload blame onto his (soon-ex) wife and accept full responsibility instead of trying to figure out how to get away with what he did. Lots of people "feel bad" when they do something heinous. It doesn't make anything better.

If you threaten to kill people in a rage, you need serious help managing your anger issues. That's not normal, average, all-humans-do-it-sometime behavior. Even when angry, most people don't threaten to kill toddlers.
