This sub seems to struggle with the terminology of HVM. Obviously, it’s perfectly acceptable to not want your partner to cheat on you. But him doing so doesn’t change his status as a HVM. HVM is a vague term for good looking guys who make good money and do well at life.

Can I offer a guy’s perspective? Is that okay here? Him saying “you’re too nervous” is either a lie or the biggest red flag in the world. In the West, most guys would KILL for a shy, nervous girl with little to no dating experience. IMHO, he either wasn’t attracted to you, or he’s looking for a temperamentally more masculine woman. Don’t worry about this guy. You’ll find someone better.

I’m not sure why you are posting this to RedPillWomen as these aren’t RP takes that you have. Look, I have issues with some of the podcasts I assume you’re referring to (Fresh and Fit, Whatever, etc) but your critique of their opinions is either really bad faith or really silly. “But disabled/African/ancient women!” isn’t the gotcha you think it is. For whatever it’s worth, Pear 100% believes the things she says. Not defending or attacking her, but I would take that to the bank. The fresh and fit crowd is cringe in my opinion, and a 40-year-old being a fan is extra bad, but substantively, I don’t think those guys are wrong about much. Their marriage advice is pretty bad, but I’ve never seen them be wrong about the differences between men and women.

Can you explain the “old car” thing? I’m genuinely curious about this. Because “old car” can mean 1967 Camaro or it can mean 2001 Honda Civic with bad paint fade and a passenger window that doesn’t roll down. What kind of car are we talking about here? Also, what was mom’s car?
