Both are valid concerns that have the potential to hinder one's ability to socialize and mate if left unchecked. However the second part is rude because one's fears don't diminish the other's. We've come from dick measuring contests to who has it worse contests, which is counter-productive to both feminism and MRA cause. It also might be that men won't report attempts that aren't life threatening. I've had like 8 attempts, but only 3 were reported, 2 of them self-reported, the rest either ended in me waking up as if nothing happened, or forgetting where I hid the bullets. Because I don't need to buy clothes often. I actually talked about it with my male homies and we came to the conclusion that men share similar thinking when it comes to clothes "if it doesn't have tears/permanent stains, there's no need to buy new clothes". Tl:dr Prison disproportionately affects women because of harsh conditions, convicted mothers, past traumas and head injury so female prisoners would be released and redirected to day centers for therapy and skill acquisitions while all these stats have little to no difference in male system population, but there are no such plans to reform the prison system for males, even in non-violent cases, which is like 48% of male prison system if I remember.
