I think it can come across as needy if said the wrong way. ASKING her if she's still down to meet up is needy/low confidence. In the example I gave above I always give the impression I'm confidently assuming she's down to hang plus I clear the air of any doubt she nay have about me showing up

Bru, couldnt disagree more. If you're a high value man who's time is valuable you'd want to take 5 seconds to text her on the day of the date. I normally just say something along on the lines of "Just got back from the gym, about to shower catch ya later" if she doesn't respond she won't be there and you can avoid having your time wasted.

You need to take note of whether they suggest another date time or not when a girl says she can't meet you. The fact she hasn't suggested one to me says she most likely found a 'better' option or for some odd reason possibly wasn't interested all along (less likely because of the fact she initially agreed to the date).
