Well, yeah, internalized misogyny is a thing; I guess I’ve never heard anyone speak out about the term “toxic masculinity,” and it never crossed my mind either, but you’ve got a decent point. Either way, that wasn’t my point. My point was that both sides of the same coin exist, and people need to stop acting like one gender is different from the other in terms of internal struggle.

Female hysteria is real. Toxic masculinity is real. Both problems contribute to these problems. There is no need to prove the existence of one and disprove the existence of another.

You shouldn’t be downvoted like this, because you’re right. By negatively generalizing a group of people advocating for the rights of a minority (now becoming the majority), you become your own enemy. Feminist = misandrist. The terms separately exist for good reason.

I didn’t scroll too far in the comments, but some of the tops ones are right. It could be used against you. However, it can easily but turned right around. So it’s not very useful in either situation. But I did see some comments that were absolutely emotionless towards the guy and expected him to rape you or worse. That’s not cool ):

I read the first line and stopped. I don’t need to read any more since she instantly defined MRAs incorrectly. Men’s Rights Activists don’t believe that we live in a matriarchy. Although some might believe this, the truth is actually that both genders have it terribly. There are certain things that men get easier, and things that women get easier. It’s the same with things that are tougher, too. Most MRAs believe in that, and that’s not even the important part of being an MRA. And MRA is someone…

Thank you for not invalidating us and telling us that we’re “trying to be apart of a victim minority.” Everyone experiences racism, sexism, homophobia/heterophobia, regardless of whether or not you’re apart of the majority or the minority. The truth is it’s still going to happen. We just need to have each other’s backs, because if we keep yelling at each other for being valid or invalid, or sexist or not sexist, we’re only going to make the problems worse. People deny that they’re sexist because…

What’s so horrible about feminists is when we give them the cold, hard truth, they deny it and yell at us for being sexist. And of course, there are some other women that yell at people because they’re “sexist” and “hating on women,” but we’re just trying to give them the truth. If you don’t act like a feminist, I’m not aiming the gun at you.

I honestly feel bad for entitled people. Sure, I absolutely hate their actions and the way they are sometimes, but I feel bad because they’re probably that way because of their childhood and/or parents. Harsh. Anyways, that was a REALLY clean and swift uppercut. I could feel it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
