10	Why has feminism evolved from being an equal rights movement, to a man hating, pro women only, pseudo hate group? So much so that we have a safe haven for Men Rights advocates here on Reddit? (which I'm proud to be a subscriber of) Because they want their feelings to be catered to and their narratives to be supported more than they want actual equality. Because ACTUAL equality won't always work out in their favour. Once they see that, they go for what WILL always work out in their favour, which is supremacy. So, their reasoning for considering women over men in this scenario is because men aren't above what the rate was in 1940. Even though men still live with their parents at a higher rate. I don't see her as a huge proponent of Men's Rights, but I don't think she would do anything to make things worse. EDIT: Downvotes are whatever, but I honestly believe that she is the best (or least bad, honestly) on the sole issue of Men's Rights. She does NOT like third wave feminists. I think that it's likely that something along those lines has happened at some point, but not BECAUSE the individual was gay, which is basically what they're trying to say. I prefer to wait until I have some kind of idea of whether or not the relationship is gonna go anywhere. And I agree to a certain extent, if for no other reason than because a good portion of them constantly project those negative traits (regressive, etc) onto men. But it's been my experience that I can speak really openly about my sex life with straight guys in a way I can't with female friends (even though my female friends can talk to each other about sex). I also find it much easier to have intellectual/political conversations with straight guys because they typically are a bit more lax in their beliefs and hearing the beliefs of others. I'm in my first year of college and I used to have mainly female friends, but I've been experiencing this kind of behaviour (as well as overall ridiculous feminist behaviour) from them more and more and I've started to make more male friends as a result. Honestly, I've experienced more acceptance from straight males than I have females (gay or straight) or even most gay males.
