Most media is propaganda and a chance for favors to be cashed in from the industry. There’s big money behind media that’s trying to push a message, not cultivate an audience

Maybe he was being targeted by someone else or a whole group of influential people? I mean it’s not too divorced from reality to consider she was paid to try to destroy him. Didn’t that happen to Mel Gibson when his wife recorded him to make him look crazy to the general public?

To be fair, and this isn’t an argument against what you said, just in addition...if you’re a guy that is at home playing video games all day, you’re just as irresponsible as girls behaving in the way you mention. In paraphrasing of JP, you’re denying yourself your call to adventure just as a woman doing these things is undermining her womanhood and responsibilities to society. Can’t have a functioning society of sex workers and men just playing video games.

I made a post here about my issues with studying psychology and my current classes. Much of the same issues you posted about above. Psychology will be the single most important area of research for the next 3-4 decades as we work to get society back on track from all the social damage done by propaganda and agenda politics. Keep going 👍🏼

I think there’s something valuable to being able to pick up a girl in that it keeps you fresh and able to gauge whether you’re still good at selling yourself/products & services (charismatic personality translates well to sales). But i think it’s healthier to only do picking up type stuff while doing ur own things like grocery store line or other regular life stuff that shows ur living ur life genuinely and not just trying to get a chick in bed to brag to ur buddies.

I remember the first little waving flag of inequality in sexual dynamics was when in middle school and high school when girls were going through puberty that the prettier ones who sneezed in class would have 20 guys say bless you and the less pretty ones or average dudes would have only the persons next to them say bless you. The hierarchy of attention and value

Some doing know if doing X will make them a bitch if they ask themselves that question head on. A better question for someone without guidance would be would “x, bad ass person I have read of would do that?”. If not then don’t do it. Really depends on who they decide is their role model though. And the best way to decide that is upon who the general public you align your philosophy with admires.

Right I agree it is too esoteric. Thank you for the feedback/reality check! It was something I wrote for myself and thought it would translate well to other people but I forget other people don’t have the context that led me to this train of thought...good to realize I need to take a step back before posting my thoughts to understand how it will be perceived by others first 👍🏼

That’s somewhat true though. To the extent that a motivational speaker can be the spark to your life changing epiphany, but then your discipline and hard work are the actual thing that changes your life. Women create the potential of greatness, men decide whether to follow through on that potential or not.

Recently finished the inferno and now reading purgatorio, would love to get your opinion on that volume. The inferno is symbolic of the power of the father, I think for the fact you need will and strength to get through the hell of life. And once you have proven your ability to shoulder the burden of hell and the strength required to do so you can begin your journey through purgatory which is symbolic of the wisdom of the son. One thing I keep coming back to in the 3 volumes is that Dante is gui…

Malcolm X in his Berkeley 1963 interview. “I’m suspiscious of whites who join negroes and have to be in the lead.” Just to paraphrase the next parts: he says ‘a white person who really wants to support black people would give them advice privately and then stand on the sideline.’ Similar to like a coach would in a game. The coach doesn’t just run on the field and start playing the game for his weakest player? He coaches them and let’s them be the star.

My best guess is that after his time in the military he feels a sense of guilt for being royalty while others die gruesome deaths for no purposeful reason. He must have a certain disdain for himself. EDIT: maybe shame instead of guilt is a better way to describe it. Megan is just taking advantage of that. Very easy to manipulate someone who is lost and isolated,

I think knowing how to attract someone or “pick them up” is a useful skill, but it shouldn’t be your sole mission in life or else that’s not very useful in the long run. Definitely helps with increasing your social and business network though because it’s basically just all psychology which is good to know no matter what line of work you go into.

Everyone is both good and bad. It wasn’t like Nazi’s or the USSR weren’t composed of people like you and me. Everyone’s human and no one person is more human than the next. The environment we’re raised in and the opportunities we have shape our behaviors, among many other things. I find, and many others I’ve read of, find that active vengeance mixed with the justification of empathetic ideology is a ruthless combination. So when you look at any group that is acting out of balance of good and bad…

My personal opinion regarding this is that if you choose to not have a family but desire to support others, you can always support a sizable portion of societal progress. Civilization needs those who sacrifice for the greater good.

This is what happens when generations of young boys don't have a father figure to help mold their masculine energy into something useful rather than destructive. The power of order with the direction of chaos. Other factors apply, but time and time again single mother households and generally single-parent households as a whole are a detriment to society especially when ideologies that promote such effects are scaled on a national level.

In this world, there’s only 2 people: pimps and prostitutes. In this world there are only two types of pimps: lonely pimps and bad pimps. - very loose translation from Pimp by Iceberg Slim. Great book for understanding capitalism. In some ways banks are our “pimps”: direct deposit to them as soon as we get our money. Then they reinvest that money to make more money with our money while selling us the facade of security by using their strong reputation and forms of punishment for disobedience.

Study showing 62% of undergrad women had rape fantasies: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/19085605 The psychology of it is super messed up when you really get to the roots of it. In the words of Buckminster fuller: "The historical consequence of this eons-ago-commenced employment of this grand strategy of 'divide to conquer and keep divided to keep conquered' accounts for the 'natural' acceptance today by world peoples of the seemingly 'God-given' existence of 150 sovereign nations of the world and their respective geographical division of all the world's dry land (as well as for all the specialized categories of human activities)".

If you believe your pain and suffering has helped define who you are today then I think it’s okay to share your story because that’s just the story of you. If you were to write an autobiography would you leave out things for fear of it making you less of a man? Instead you can teach others through the use of story telling. Telling your story can help others gain insight and better themselves. If your advice is truly good, then you will have gained very loyal followers. There’s a difference betwe…

That’s not entirely true. A girl that’s cheated on will most definitely wonder what’s wrong with her and why she wasn’t worthy enough. Her reaction to the idea that she isn’t worthy enough is up to the individual girl whether that’s anger or sadness

I study psychology and neurolinguistic programming is not about helping people (at least not in a traditionally genuine sense). It’s a very big part of digital marketing and social engineering based upon using certain words injected into sentences to get your audience or target to think or behave a certain way. Smooth talkers and anyone who is a life coach will be well versed in this. I’ve had dinners with many life coaches and usually they have a very messed up past that they now want to relinq…

This is the way I see it...You don’t usually gain much respect from complaining. If you don’t like a subreddit the way it is but like the underlying idea behind it, then be a leader and be the change. Complainers are worse than followers in my opinion.

sorry, I'm kinda down a rabbit hole of ideas tonight and didn't want to make a new thread unless I have to... Thinking about the nature of women versus men, think about the reproductive cycle. We are literally programmed as such: There are a limited number of female eggs, and there are millions of men. The ratio of value correlates to this. Therefore, the female imperative will always be valued as the value of a whole man pales in comparison to that of a female. We are programmed from even befor…

However, for problems such as Interpellation we have to look deeper into these problems if we are working towards a problem that requires the efforts of social engineers.

I recommend it. I'm a Mason and it has opened many doors in my life and definitely the male-only aspect is great for someone like me who grew up in a single mother, mostly female, family. Yup. It’s makes me feel wayyy not okay reading studies about rape fetishes, but it’s true. One study surveying 330ish college women found 62% of them had atleast one form of rape fantasy. If I remember correctly 14% wanted it in an incapacitated state...I mean I get it in a sick and twisted kind of way, but that is like almost masochistic. Also makes you wonder who really is perpetuating this “rape culture” as controversial as that may be to say.

Thought just popped into my head with you mentioning “more”. Isn’t that nature though? And I’m agreeing with you when I say this, just adding on to that thought process. Like life itself just continues to want more and more. Even though we have billions living on this planet, collectively we still want MORE people. Hence why I think women have been important for the human race in that they give men a reason to keep working for more. The women will keep desiring more and if the men are to keep pr…

In a way yes. Look at the way the like and favorite system is set up. It completely negates room for shame. You only get love or you get ignored (lack of likes). These or the extremes on the scale of attention and women for example can take advantage of their beauty in their youth to get the dopamine hits the likes and favorites give them but later down the line in their life they’ll be ignored which is worse than hate. It literally destroys people’s identities, men as well but especially women.…

Shame is one thing that is a social construct. It’s very related to nature but only in animals that can communicate with each other at least in the typical sense of sounds and facial expressions, etc.. In a world with less honest communication (via the degradation of interpersonal relationships from the internet/social media/phones) the shame we would inherently feel for what is right or wrong isn’t shared amongst one another which would normally balance out wrongful acts either by behavioral co…

My dream is to create a non-political grassroots style think tank that does research and opens up the accessibility to mental health care and gets people outside more. Read this explanation of what “interest over time” is: The scores awarded by Google Trends on the "interest over time" line graph express the popularity of that term over a specified time range. I have a very controversial idea (that could definitely be wrong, it’s just an idea) somewhat regarding this and I’ll keep it short. I think that people are misinterpreting what I’m saying as pity towards men and jealousy towards women. I mean this more as in a philosophical sense of chaos vs. order and the pro’s and con’s of being a women and being a man. I like to think of things as equilibriums and feedback loops and that goes for humans. I have a similar upbringing. Try to take all the bad things that happened in your life, all the tragedies, and make them lessons to learn from. Then you can accept them and move on, you can accept them and help others that experienced similar things get to the other side, or you can accept them and help others who haven’t experienced similar things understand what it’s like to go through it and come out the other side.

Assuming this is true just for the sake of argument, wouldn’t nature do this as a way to make sure men keep providing more and better as time goes on? It seems like women take the brunt of depression and emotional chaos for the ultimate sake of creating enough chaos that men are forced to enact order and this combination makes for a species that keeps growing and improving? Just thinking out loud, not set on anything obviously
