There was another study which I remember reading about, while not water-tight it seemed reasonably done in which they found a 41% false accusation rate. The determination for what passed as a false accusation hinged upon verbal admission of the accuser, or being demonstrably false on the evidence provided. I was only having a little fun, clearly what I said was no solution at all. But I do sincerely believe (and hope) this woman should face some legal consequences for her actions. When there is no pushback from the law there will always be people there to exploit the lack of consequences - and the problem grows. False accusation for example.

Reminds me of the time where they tested gender-blind work applications to see if it would improve the number of women hired under the presumption women weren't being hired for gender-discriminatory reasons. Turned out the reverse was true, and under gender-blind conditions more men were selected to move onto the interview process than previously.

No I agree they're not much related. I have heard people lumping together Men's Rights, MGTOW, TheRedPill, and various other modern Men's movements as the 'Manosphere', which as we agree is erroneous. Regardless people not so informed will falsely equate them with one another.

I think it's more a case of seeing misogynistic comments on youtube/facebook and equating them with Men's Rights. That and she has made some very zealous Feminist friends recently, and I think they've got her believing the worst elements of the "manosphere" such as /r/theredpill are indicative of Men's Rights.

I agree it is rare but it's not unheard of. Different sentences based on Gender (when women already receive more lenient sentences) is undeniably sexism. The thing is the first point falls apart when you consider that a woman can be as large as/or larger than a man, and a man can hold a significant size advantage over another man. If the law regarded physical attacks with a large size discrepancy I might not view it as sexist. As it is written, it is in my view a subtle form of sexism.
