So how is that in any way, shape or form the same... The outcome.

I was not trying to say that only (or especially) women are responsible for the military conscription. I'm aware. My point is that since you specifically did say: "... misandry, especially from women" Then your example should have been relevant to that. Mandatory military conscription or selective service is an instance of sexism against all men, irrespective of anything else, and that was the point I was trying to make. I see. Well I don't disagree with you there. I'm just still confused about …

Sorry, this doesn't make sense. Removing the head of the penis would also lop off a significant amount of the urethra and make it exceedingly difficult to have intercourse. The penis would be a literal stump requiring surgery just to urinate and ejaculate properly. No, it wouldn't. It might require surgery if it's chopped off at home or something, but most circumcisions aren't done at home, they're done in a hospital and the surgery/etc is done when the circumcision is. If, for some crazy reason…

Let them eat cake has nothing to do with this, you clown. Let them eat cake is a misattributed "quote" about people who are impoverished not being able to get bread and being told that they should eat cake. If sex is bread and I'm saying jerk off, that's not cake, you idiot. Also, unlike starvation, neither your dumb ass or anyone else will DIE if you don't get your pathetic dick wet. Get a fucking grip on reality, pull your head out of your damn ass, recognize that the world doesn't revolve aro…

I disagree with just about everything this idiot has said, but I felt the need to correct you on this point: Removing the clitoral glans robs (most) women of the ability to orgasm. Removing the head of the penis robs men of the ability to orgasm, urinate properly, and reproduce. Yes, removing the clit is like removing the glans of the penis, sexually speaking, because the clit is the same analogous structure as the penis glans. Also, removing the head of the penis wouldn't necessarily rob a man …

Feminism, your supposed beacon of equality, didn't fight against it, though. Actually, in many cultures it doesn't involve clitoral removal, that's on the extreme end. In said cultures, including some religious organizations in the United States, female circumcision involves nothing more than a superficial nick with a razor on the clitoral hood, which allows a drop of blood to symbolize the act, and nothing more is done.

Lack of genital autonomy? Like how feminists did everything in their power to end female infant genital mutilation in the west and continue to fight against it overseas, yet many feminists who self-describe as being in favor of equality and against injustice just left baby boys out to dry, or even explicitly support male intent genital mutilation, often with the same excuses they do easily recognize as bullshit when applies to figm???

Imho, I think that overall, people who are unreasonable about porn (as in your case, versus reasonable boundaries like u/livs4dietdrpepper talked about) are so because of insecurity. They assume far too much, assign undue 'value' to it, etc. They don't believe that it's meaningless. They believe that its use is indicative of something against them; that it means they aren't enough, that they aren't attractive, that they are doing something wrong, etc. People who feel this way generally have a ki…

I agree with every thing you've said. And my wife is into porn. Full disclosure to the sub, I'm FtM, so idk how much of my opinion is due to estrogen/socialization or, if it's purely just how I feel about the subject but yeah. Spot on. Porn isn't a problem, unless it's allowed to become one. The only thing I'd add is that, it shouldn't have to become one. If my wife starts getting into porn to the point she prefers it over me, I think that should be mentioned far sooner. Obviously, if we've even…

Because it can.... ? I'm sorry, I just don't get the question. There are countless examples, on Reddit alone, every day of people having their lives wrecked just by a non-marital partner, or by a family member, a boss, a coworker, someone they considered a friend, or even a total stranger, etc. People can suck, marriage is just a piece of paper that tells the government how to handle cohabitation and partners rights etc. It doesn't make a person more likely to fuck you over than they would've be…

Since u/Fearless-File3625 said "Yes, ugly men face much more misandry, especially from women"
/r/MensRights19/02/22 04:13 AM
1

No. I said "men made the law" as if I thought it was a silly thing to follow the notion that women are misandric with. I never said the law wasn't misandry- it is. If the point is that women are misandric, the example should be of women being misandric, not of men being misandric. Lol. You're the one with the cognition issues here.
/r/MensRights19/02/22 03:31 AM
1

No. That can happen without marriage. And, without relationships in general, you aren't gonna have kids to begin with. Avoiding benefits because of potential risk is a cowardly stance to take, imho. But if that's how you feel about life and risks, then it's probably for the best for all that you opt out.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/22 03:14 AM

Neither. I just thought it was strange to mention female-caused misandry, then give an example of male-caused misandry.

You said: misandry, especially from women, And also for example, (majority white) men have to pay with their lives to earn voting rights. It doesn't make sense to me that, if your point was "misandry especially from women", you'd exemplify that with a circumstance of misandry against and from men. Racists are racist, I don't think that's limited to feminism, lol. And trust me, if it were, I'd be all over it because I don't like feminism. You said "especially from women" and then followed it with an example that wasn't from women. Idgaf what your race is. The point is that the law legally applies regardless of race, it's not only white people who have to sign up for the draft to vote, it's any males. The reason more white people are in the military is due to the fact that conservatism is full of dumb yeehaw whites, and patriotism, in equal measure.

🙄 Fuck feminism. I don't see anything that remotely resembles a smile. Not even when she was supposed to be smiling for the camera. Others have made the argument she's upset for other reasons, and that may be true. But if you can't tell that she's upset at all, then I hope you're asexual, because if not, then with THAT low of emotional intelligence, you're going to rape someone someday thinking they're having a good time.

The divorce rate is only 2.9/1000, 9/10 of all divorces are amicable, and 3/10 are male initiated. Meanwhile your chances of dying in a car crash are 1/107, and the odds of choking are 1/2535. You mean that men never sexually harassed women trying to enter male dominated professions? I mean, watch an episode of mad men sometime. I mean shit happens. Bad people will do bad things for personal gain regardless of their gender. Feminism is an organization that claims to be good while it does bad things. At the center of the conversation at the time was how to address a culture that privileges the rights and agency of men above women. We're not taking about 60s feminism/feminisms origins, …

Why drive when you can crash? Why eat when you can choke? Why masturbate or play video games when you can get addicted? Because negative outcomes aren't guaranteed, you can mitigate negative outcomes with the right forethought and actions, and living without risk isn't living at all. At that point, why live when you can die?

Well, yeah... Women are less likely to be involuntarily celibate than men, and less likely to have life disruption and psychological harm from it when they are. Additionally, of those who are, it's more common that women who become disenchanted with/feel disenfranchised from society turn that anger/pain inward, while men are more likely to turn it outward. How is blaming feminism for everything not the exact same thing as feminists blaming the patriarchy for everything? Feminism was/is an actively formed group/community that claims to exist to work for equality and against inequality and harmful behaviors that lead to it. It claims to be a benefit to society. The patriarchy was never an organized group with a started purpose, it was just "how things were" due to a handful of archaic social conventions. It is recognized to be harmful to society. Th…

No, I'm saying I understand them enough to realize that their "standards" aren't based on anything factual, objective, or meaningful about anyone but themselves. Well why would anyone continue to date someone who's only interested in talking about themselves or can't grasp things with objectivity? That's definitely not a sex-specific personality flaw, plenty of guys are like that, too. Also, no. You definitely can't always eventually reach a rational agreement with any gay man. Eh, there's serious health risks to pregnancy in their twenties, too. The risk of miscarriage is the only one that goes up dramatically. The other risks do raise, but not as much as you'd think. And again, there's always adoption.

It's not too late, though? Medical advances let women up to their sixties (I think) have kids. Plus there's always adoption or IVF, even if they can't get pregnant. And, if they did well on their education, careers and savings etc, they won't need any financial help, so being "an undesirable age" to most men won't matter, either.
/r/MensRights03/02/22 12:33 AM

Women are much less visually motivated than men. There are trends etc in what's more or less commonly considered attractive, but the long and short of the situation is that women just don't much give a crap about ogling. They care about other factors infinitely more than looks, and even when they do care about looks, they don't care about them as much as men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/22 12:26 AM

They can, but it's not very common; definitely not as common as women who have height requirements/restrictions on guys they'd be into. That said, I think the conversation about height is overblown. There are more people who don't care about height at all than there are people who care a lot.

Why deal with having to milk a cow every day when you can just go to the store and get a single glass of milk only when you want one? And don’t even with your abliest shit. Your literally saying if you have a painful period you shouldn’t be a parent. That’s disgusting. I didn't say that, I'm sorry if reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, but perhaps try reading my posts again, a little slower this time? You don’t want women to have decent healthcare An absurd and baseless claim.

Being a parent isn't a right, it's a responsibility, and in my opinion, it's a responsibility so important that only people who can do it well should. Parenting a child isn't something that someone is able to do well just because they're able to create a child. These opinions have no bearing or connection to my mental health whatsoever.
/r/MensRights17/01/22 09:08 PM

Nope. I'm saying that hysterectomy is merely one of the options that exist to deal with debilitating period symptoms, one that some women could benefit from considering. With regards to pregnancy, I suggested reversible procedures for women and men.
/r/MensRights17/01/22 09:06 PM

Knowing that parenting is an incredibly important job that not everyone capable of reproduction is up for isn't a mental illness. Also, presuming someone isn't sane simply because they disagree with you on reproductive health and parenting is ableist and more than a little disrespectful.

Well, yes. I agree with that completely, actually. I personally think reversible sterilization around puberty until choosing and being financially/mentally/behaviorally fit to have children in adulthood would be a good thing for society in many different ways. I didn't say anyone "have" to get hysterectomies, I said that if someone has debilitating periods, they should probably consider it. Men getting vasectomies don't really have anything to do with debilitating periods, though. I think you we…

If their period is so bad they can't work, they should consider it, yes. No one is entitled to being parent, so you can save your energy on that line of thought.

Some women do give their sons good advice, and some men don't, they can also get advice from other family, or friends and on top of this not every guy takes the advice he's given, or can tell the difference between good and bad advice, or is good at pulling off the advice, or the advice isn't useful for the type of person/individuals he's attracted to, or there's something else going on with his life/personality/social skills/looks that's impacting his chances, and there's also just the luck com…

There are millions of celibate women as well. It's not as though there aren't many men who are just as shallow as many women are. The important thing is that there are plenty of people who aren't shallow, and there's no reason to "mourn" not getting the attention of the ones who are. They aren't worth being with, if anything, it's better to be glad to be able to dodge those bullets.

Yes. There being people who don't meet/expect the bare minimum doesn't change the fact that it is so. To make a more stark example, there are people who know they will abuse/don't expect not to be abused by their partner, that doesn't change the fact that not abusing a partner is a default level expectations. Same thing. There are basic standards that everyone deserves, regardless of their own ability to recognize or accept that they deserve it, and/or, that most everyone (obviously things like …

I don't like the Adonis body either, but actually yes eating less is effective. It's literally calories in v calories out, if people eat less than what they burn they will lose weight. That's mostly true but not universal. Metabolism plays a part, activity level plays a part, age, muscle percentage, health issues and medication can all impact things. Yes, calories in calories out-- but the same amount of calories don't have the same impact on everyone. Someone who eats 1200 calories a day can be…

I think a base solution would be having better and broader opportunities for mental health regardless of income. People who have no or managed mental illness are generally better off in every way than those who suffer mental illness.

Well, considering I directly asked you what you meant, that's a foolish thing to think.

How large? Keep in mind there are ~3.8 billion women, only 1% of which is 38 million, so I'll be expecting a "pretty large" number. Let's see how far we differ on what "pretty large" means.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/21 03:15 AM

"A lot" isn't "the majority of 3.8 billion".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/21 03:14 AM

Yes, indeed. Horrifically, like how some female rape victims are forced to allow visitation or whatever.. There are male rape victims, who were children at the time of their rape (in many cases when their rapist was not a child) who have been punished by the system and not only legally pursued for, but had their rapist be awarded, child support from them upon turning eighteen.

Interesting. I don't agree with that, I think equity is perfectly quantifiable. A baseline is all that is needed, then just help those as needed for everyone to meet or, with their their own effort/s, exceed it. Am I missing some element?
/r/MensRights25/12/21 03:00 AM

It's really not. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of perfectly decent and good individual people there, there is some very beautiful architecture and culture, iirc there are places that are beautiful (I'm not much of a fan of desert landscape personally, but they've got a few beautiful places even imho), etc... but their government/how it's run/who influences it... Different story. It's very similar to the USA in those ways, tbh.

Why do you think that it's subjective and impossible to achieve, and why do you think equality is better?
/r/MensRights18/12/21 05:14 AM
13

There absolutely is a good reason: equity is superior to equality. Laws should be made so that people have fair rights and protections that they deserve and need, not just a bunch of rules and options for the sake of blindly having "sameness."

The reason is that she doesn't need to do the same. She can kill it or give it away. Already. Financial abortions for men are necessary because body autonomy for women prevents them from physical abortion. Unless you'd like to have an equal version of a physical abortion for men to "be allowed to do precisely the same thing" as women. Maybe surgery to remove his sperm from her body? No? Okay then. It's not the same response because it's not the same situation both ways.

Pssstt.....Not everyone likes that "Adonis" look to begin with. Personally, I like skinny guys best, muscles aren't very attractive to me at all (definition, fine, but not bulk). Pretty sure there was a study at some point that showed that men care more about looking that way to other men, than women care about men looking that way. Also, no, eating less and "optionally" exercising isn't effective for people just because they're female. If it were, eating disorders wouldn't exist.

My wife and I are on the same page about this also. Also that p*dophile victims shouldn't ever be responsible for child support.

It doesn't need to be the same, if she doesn't want it, she can abort (in places life makes sense) or give it up for adoption without financial burden already. There's no need for a financial abortion when you can have a real one. Well... Unless, I suppose, if she has the kid but the father wants it... Is that the kind of situation you're talking about?

I wasn't taking you literally, even as an exaggeration what you said doesn't fit with reality. The point remains, your personal interactions aren't an indicator of what exists, just what you've experienced.

As someone who's been in the adult entertainment industry for over two decades: everyone is someone's idea of sexy, nobody is everyone's. Plenty of people prioritize stability over sexual attraction, some prioritize emotional connection over it, or nonsexual intimacy, ideals, faith, goals, lifestyle, kids, or them just being a living human being who reciprocates affection/attention, etc. Both men and women do this. And there are people who don't. 🤷🏽 It just means stuff is more complicated than m…

Talking themselves out of it, in my experience. The best/most successful attempts guys have made with me were the guys who were just acting like a human being and talking about something relevant&/or normal ("relevant" being like, I'm in a hobby store standing by minis and he asks what game I play, "normal" being like we're waiting in line at a store and he makes a joke about how slow the cashier is going or something) to break the ice without causing pressure or the feeling of expectations. Staying with someone you can't be honest with and genuinely care for is crappy to do, and only ends up holding both parties back in life. Regardless of whether the reason is a douchy one or not, if one partner isn't into the relationship anymore, it's better to break it off and move on than stay with someone out of guilt, obligation or whatever.

"Millions of guys out there can take good care of themselves, and women still reject them left and right" Yeah. Just like women will reject guys who are nice. Things like basic hygiene and kindness are default level expectations for most people in general, men or women, regardless of gender. There's a lot of other factors people care about, and just having the basics isn't going to be enough unless the standards are basement level.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/21 02:56 AM

Why would you think that? There is only one of you, how many women could you possibly have met that you think you've gone through the "full selection?"
