A.) It dramatically increases your likelihood to get a divorce B.) There's no binding commitment (legal, moral, or otherwise) in the relationship but there IS binding commitment in your living arrangement. If things go south, you're fucked and potentially homeless while still paying rent.

You don't have to feel bad when you pump and dump em though, if the are only after your money.

Marriage is very different than dating. It's the process of committing to the relationship and the weirdness of living with another person that closely. (No, you should not be cohabiting with your girlfriend under any circumstances. Terrible idea)

Why would I waste years of my life leading up to marriage Why would you do that, period? How long do you think you need to date someone before you get engaged?

I think if you marry someone, thats required info. Dating, go fuck yourself.

As opposed to why you go on here, to drink "white bois" tears? I'd tell you to go fuck yourself, but honestly you're so nasty I know your hands don't even want that job, Fatty.

I said "barely" as in technically still qualifies. Also, there are quite a few people who are not women but who are still human. So "dehumanizing" is just nonsense. Strawman harder next time, princess.

Also, feminists barely count as women. Butch bull dykes are not a great representation of what it means to be feminine.

Uh, what? My point is that "SJW pass" is a subset of "pussy pass" because only women take that shit seriously. GTFO weirdo.

Recent opinion polls conducted by several different sources. Between 20% and 30% of women call themselves feminists, despite 90+% of women holding views about gender that would be classified as egalitarian. By extension, we can infer that a majority of women also think that feminism is more than just "equal rights for men and women", a statement which is obviously true if you've spent even 5 minutes reading feminist thought, but which for some reason is still considered "controversial".

Feminism was basically started in the 60's by two women who both hated men, one of whom physically abused her husband. Their books are highly misandrist. Feminism has always been about man hating.

Critical theory is straight up bullshit. The women who get attached to it at the ones who feel cheated by society. Feminism grew out of it, which means it is bullshit by extension.

More or less. Only ~25% of women are feminists.

SJW is an offshoot of feminism, which is an offshoot of ugly women who can't get laid by attractive men. Still counts.

If you read the words of the bill, it's aimed at protecting a "marginalized" community, i.e. 1/6th of the world's population. It just shows how insane Canada is becoming under the guise of multiculturalism (which btw is a terrible idea. A "melting pot" is one thing; ghettoizing cultures into antagonistic factions is a completely different thing.)

Canada (well Quebec, but still) just passed a law that makes non-compliance with Sharia law a crime. WTF? Drawing a cartoon of Mohammed is now a crime in Quebec. Are you fucking serious Canada?

Yeah but the best part is knowing that she is so terrified of getting old because in her heart, she understands that she has no other value. Once men no longer want to fuck her, she is a useless human being.

I can't magically forget about my parents and suddenly disregard their opinion, It's not magic. You just need to be in tune with your own emotional state (and if you aren't, try practicing mindfulness meditation). Then, every time you get that feeling of being judged by your parents, simply repeat to yourself "Their opinion does not matter." until you don't have that feeling anymore. It's perfectly okay to not respect your parents opinion, especially when they have proven themselves to be people…

Does it matter than I'm bad at sports? No, it doesn't. So long as you are enjoying yourself, he will (or at least should) be happy that you want to participate in the things he enjoys. The average guy can utterly destroy the average girl in most sports, so guys are usually less competitive when playing co-ed. If you boyfriend is still hypercompetitive even when playing socially with women, that's kind of a red flag.

Don't just jump up and be "BYE FELICIA!" Provided you are making an honest attempt at conversation and connection, if after 15-30 minutes you don't have anything to talk about, it's time to bail. "Jim Bob, it was nice to meet you, but I need to get going." It's not rude at all.

This set me off so that I preceded to accuse him and ask him about being attracted and turned on by this girl on tv. Yeah, obviously. In the situation of thinking he's reacting to another girl, am I just being crazy by feeling hurt by that? "Crazy" is a strong word, but yes, you are overreacting. It's not a conscious decision for men to be attracted to someone physically. From an evolutionary perspective, men need to be ready to fuck a fertile and willing woman at the drop of a hat, or your one …

Being in charge of "planning the date" means you are in charge of the specific details, and it doesn't mean you can't get input from him about the general ones. Ask him straight out what kinds of things he would enjoy doing together and then plan around those types of activities. Last night I tried to give him a massage because he's had a rough week at work. Did you make it a "thing"? Or was it more along the lines of a casual shoulder massage while you had a conversation? If it's the former, tr…

There's nothing unusual about what you are describing on the surface. Unless he's giving you some reason (that you didn't mention here) to doubt that it might be inappropriate, I would just ignore those feelings of jealousy and focus on your own relationship with your husband.

Second and third dates are even worse because that's when they usually try to kiss me and I don't feel comfortable getting physical yet. Um, what? You clearly like the person if you are going on three dates together, but you don't feel comfortable even kissing them? This doesn't sound like a problem with dating. This sounds like a problem with repression. You should probably go talk to a licensed therapist about this and work out your issues. Also, if the conversation is boring, just excuse your…

It's a well-written, funny show, I disagree. Most of the jokes are "Look how fucking awkward these "smart" guys are!". Yeah, not all smart people are on the spectrum or have zero social skills. I've met more than a few actual scientists who work for NASA and JPL. They were definitely nerdy, but universally good-natured and friendly, in my own experience.

From the other side of the equation, I absolutely have felt the same thing. I don't want to date a woman who "doesn't need a man". That has no interest for me. I want to be the rock for my woman. I want to be her support and provider, just like she supports and provides for me (albeit in different ways). Careerist women are almost universally incredibly shallow and uninteresting (but to be fair, so are careerist men). I need a partner who can bring all the things into my life that my relationshi…

You should dress modestly because you respect yourself, and you have more to offer the world besides tits and ass. Granted, in some parts of the world, "dressing modestly" is just code word for implicit control over women, e.g. Saudi Arabia and Iran. But assuming you live somewhere in the western world, dressing modestly (yet feminine) is a good thing.

I don’t “get” why they don’t like him. Why are you worried about why shitty people don't like your boyfriend. Their opinion really shouldn't matter to you. That's not a socially acceptable viewpoint but it's the truth. I know he is the one There's no such thing as "the One". You can make it work with anyone if you are committed. It's true that's going to be a lot less aggravating with some people than others, but never assume that your current connection with your BF means you can coast in your …

should you at least have some feelings after the first date, or is it normal to have a good time together, laugh, easy talking, and have the feelings not show up before after some time? That's the whole AF/BB dynamic at play. Alpha men are the ones who will evoke those strong feelings in you, while the guy you can see being best friends with but who doesn't give you those strong initial emotions is your typical beta. That's actually rooted in neurology. You can definitely develop feelings of lov…

We go on dates for months, it feels like we are getting closer, I ask for a relationship around the 3 month mark (sometimes the 6 month mark, depending), and then they won't commit (which shocks me every time), so I walk away. That's not really what an "orbiter" is. Orbiters are men you DON'T go on dates with. They are the men you "just want to be friends with". But you are correct in that your best bet is to ignore them. Sounds like you should probably be a little more clear about personal boun…

I don't really believe that feeling staunchly on subjects such as abortion, sexual assault and certain gender dynamics makes it mutually exclusive to being a member here. They also aren't the exclusive purview of feminists. You can be anti-sexual assault, pro-abortion, and pro-discarding unnecessary or outdated gender roles, and still be anti-feminist. If you don't consider yourself a post-modernist or a Marxist, then you really aren't a feminist in the first place. The notion that feminism is j…
