Even if she’s attracted to you and down to clown, negging and disqualifying are emotional manipulation techniques that will not work on an attractive and confident woman.

The last sentence in the post stung for me. I am lonely and horny. I’ve been very depressed these last two weeks especially, so I do feel pathetic, and it has been hard to focus and find enjoyment from my usual interests/hobbies to keep me occupied during quarantine. So, I must be a lonely sack of shit just like these guys. That sucks.

This post makes me wonder if I’m most likely a lonely sack of shit who fucked up all of my dating opportunities before coronavirus.

I don’t think there will be an exponential growth of women wanting more casual relationships or hookups after lockdown ends.

Yes, it’s a bad time to date. I agree that you should continue to work on yourself until your divorce is final and you have moved out.

There are some posts and comments on that sub, as well as most dating subs, that are toxic. Instead of taking everything you read as gospel on a particular sub, I think it’s a better approach to read and discern what tips, ideas, etc. will help you become your best self and implement those.

I disagree that talking about sex ruins the fun and excitement; it can build up the anticipation if done correctly. Even if discussed beforehand, consent can be taken away at any time, so I agree that OP should stop if she says no.

I’m assuming she doesn’t know you well, and she is simply judging your physical appearance and put a label on it based on her experience, whether direct or indirect, on what she thinks a fuck boy is. Obviously, if this interaction was more than just you showed her a pic and she called you a fuck boy, then it could have been something you said that led her to this conclusion.

It’s especially frustrating because all women seem to use crazy edited pictures of themselves to make them look twice as hot. Not all women use filters. That aside, for either gender, pics can be deceiving even without filters.

In my opinion, a fuck boy is perceived as a man who fucks a lot of partners and won’t commit. Most fuck boys are good enough for a hookup, but are not suitable for a serious, long-term relationship.

It’s not weird, it’s respectful. Sex should not be a taboo topic for a couple. Having an open discussion about sexual expectations and consent will help ensure you’re both on the same page.

We didn‘t talk about Sex in general yet.. You should talk to her about the car sex before you attempt anything. If she agrees she wants to have car sex, then it should be easy to proceed when the time is right.

The point is to focus on the women who don’t have a height preference.

Nobody wants to fuck or date a self-loathing person, who hasn't used his suffering to grow skills, talent, or strength. Exactly right. This goes both ways too. Don’t become emotionally invested in a woman unless she is making strives to become her best self just as you are. However- at the end of the day though, what do we really want? To have awesome sex & dates with women who are attracted to us? Or simply converting size queens for our own ego & gratification? You can’t change anyone, so don’…

Remember this too - Height alone, doesn't exist in a vacuum. No woman is attracted to a man because of his height. There is a MYRIAD of different reasons, rational and irrational reasons, that a woman will date a man. Even the biggest size/height queens, will make an exception, if you can tick enough boxes with the right strategy. But at that point, you must yourself, is pursuing this person really worth it? This is gold for any man using height as an excuse to not present his best self to poten…

I agree it would have been helpful to assess the situation more fairly if we knew the context of her texts that he left on read. I personally think that if she was actively trying to engage him in conversation, his response to leave her on read instead of simply saying he’s not interested is immature. It really depends on the context of the situation, which we know nothing about.

What is the context of these examples? If it’s just a text on it’s own out of the blue, then, no, I wouldn’t expect a response to an informative text like these examples. Though, I personally don’t say things that vague and simple as an initiating text to start a conversation. If those examples were sent during a text exchange, then I would expect a response, since I assume I would be answering a question or responding to a statement that he made.

Agreed.

It depends, obviously. If I’m emotionally invested in him, then being left on read can sting a bit and can hurt if I over analyze. I personally don’t mind sending another text depending on the circumstances (the “double-text”). I understand that people get busy and forget about messages, because I do too if a text comes in while I’m in the middle of something and can’t text back right away. To me, being ghosting becomes exhausting when it’s obvious I’m the one doing all the chasing - always star…
