Often times I look back and remember this almost imperceptible fabric between “Not present (or there in the moment)” and not there at all. Agree and I think in my life humor was my angle- in twenties I looked like Lenny Kravitz but I acted like Leslie Nielsen, it was all pratfalls, and self deprecating slapstick and I got tons of women, buuut that shit works less the older you get cause people want a partner ultimately and so got to man up at some point, or so it would seem...Unless you have tons of money, which will get you company but the rest is still up to you to get them to stay...One mans experience

I’m a failure with women but I swear I’ve been told by nearly every one I ever fooled around with that it’s best to be yourself, mind you you have to be crafty on which “You” version you share and when, but all those “You” bits should be truly you, just the right you at the right time
