It's so weird to me. I never see discussions like this where I'm from and I just don't understand it. I would never be with a man that wants or expects me to submit.

I still don't get it. Why is anyone worthy of submission? Why would anyone submit to anyone? I see relationships as a partnership, not a leader and a follower. Maybe it's cultural? I never see anyone speaking like this in my country. Like I have seen discussion here about women cooking and then serving their husband their meal and if that is how it should be or not. I didn't even understand that conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 11:10 PM

She was arrested for her crimes. So what would they protest?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/26 04:10 PM

I haven't seen any support her

Why would you submit to anyone? I don't care how good he is, rich, strong and powerfull, why would a woman submit to him? And why would he want her to?

I still don't think that kind of men deserve submission.

Yeah I feel the same.

I agree. If the parents are both decent people and can get a long then reshearch show that 50/50 is best for the children.

Nobody changes their names when they get married in my country. I've always thought it was a little weird. I would not take my husbands name if I got married to someone that comes from a country that follows that custom.

It's not the same thing, FGM is usually much more extreme. But yes both should be banned! Boy circumcicision is not really an issue outside a few countries I think. Boys in my country are only circumcised if there is a medical reason for it and sometimes in the small jewis community we have for example.

Because the child has rights. It has a right to be financially supported by both parents.

I think most women want a partner not a leader.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 09:40 AM

What do you mean? You think women are fine with dating a rapist? Most women definitely are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 10:10 PM

Yes. There are always people that are attracted to criminals, most people are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 10:06 PM

What? I know multible women that stopped dating or left a man they found out was a rapist. I was talking to a man and found out he had raped a woma that was passad out. Never spoke to him again. It's not just because of risk but a morality. If I know you are a rapist you are out of my life and I think most regular people feel the same

I don't like games in dating. I think some people, both men and women do it if they're insecure and have low self esteem maybe. I never noticed this around me after I became adult though. Dating culture is a little weird in my country. Everybody pretty much knows everybody and if not, they know someone that knows you. So when you start seeing someone you usually know them a little or at least know someone that knows them. Plus, we're not really romantic and we don't really date a lot. Just meet …

I don't know if this is cultural differences but I have no idea about this shit testing women are supposed to do. I see many comment on it in this thread. I remember as a teenager a few girls would do something like that, pretending to be uninterested to make the guy more interested but I have never heard of adult women doing it. When I think about it, teenaged boys played that game as well though. Adult men no. Well, maybe I should say mature, well adjusted adults don't do it.

I really thought you were a guy pretending to be a woman because I've read similar description in books. Where a male auther is describing women. You're good lol.

I've done the poor/broke thing and not interested in going back there. That is why I would not want to be with a broke or unemployed man. I can't go back to wondering when I can afford to eat something else then ramen/porridge and if I can pay my bills next month. If he just lost his job and was searching for a new one or in school or something that would be different. Security and stability is very important to me now.

I could say the same about the men that are 33-40 year old. Doesn't mean I'd be interested in dating a 20 year old though.

I can't be attracted to a man that is not a genuinely good person. I know plenty of women that like kind men. Being kind is a baseline, most people, men and women need more than "just" kind.

I don't know one woman that wants to be a SAHM/W. Probably some culture differences because it's pretty rare to be a SAHM/W here. Women I know want their own careers, they didn't get an education to not have a career.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 11:23 PM

So? That's their problem. Same with men who want a traditional wife that takes care of them, the home and kids but also works and contributes to the finances. Not many women are okay with that so they wont date those men.

Depends on the message. I don't assume all people that talk to me, comment on my stuff, DM me or likes my posts are interested in me. Just the way I'm not interested in the people I do that with (I'm don't really DM men but I might like their posts or comments). So many men seem to think a like or a heart mean something deeper, but it really doesn't. If it turns out I was wrong and the guy starts flirting or tries to sext or something it's really not a problem even if it is annoying, I just tell…

I don't like casual sex. I tried to do the friends with benifit thing and it was fun for a while. He wanted more though and I really hurt him because I didn't so I don't do that either. What I've seen around me, one person usually develops feeling in those kind of relationship so I think they are more trouble than they are worth.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 09:58 PM

Same. I'm single and not lonely and not looking for a relationship. Bad relationship is way worse than being single and you feel way more lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 07:57 PM

Depends on the DM for me. Is he commenting on my dog, saying something like funny dog or what ever. Yes I would answer. Is he saying something about my boobs looking tasty (btw what is it with men sending those kinds of DMs? It's not attractive and it just makes sure they get blocked) then no I would not answer him.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 06:15 PM
3

They don't? Many women and men would answer, many reasons why, they get an ego boost, they are just always looking for something new or better. Cheating has everything to do with characteristics, it's not a gendered thing. Some people are assholes and can not stay faithful. Also, there are a lot of women and men that would never answer those DMs. I never do most of my friend never do either.

I'm a single dog lady, not older yet I guess though. I'm happy and content. I feel like I should want a relationship and I even want to want to find a partner but I just can't seem to bring myself to. I've never been heartbroken, cheated on or been in an abusive relationship so it's not trauma. I was very unhappy in my last relationship for a long time so it's probably because of that. Men try to flirt with me or send me messages but I don't feel like talking to them or go out with them.

I agree with you. I personally am not interested in sex work but I don't think women that do it are disgusting. They have their reason. I know one girl who is an only fan model, she's kind and super nice. She's had a hard life and suffered se**** abuse as a child. Her boundaries are messed up because of that abuse. I know one ex prostitute, she was also se****** abused as a child. She was poor, got out of abusive relationship and needed money to take care of her children. She suffered a lot and …

I'm really sorry you feel like everyone is against you or despise you. I think it's your inner pain and depression that is making you feel this way. Are you getting any help? You don't have to feel this way.

Women being with other men doesn't mean they hate or despise you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 01:56 AM

The strippers I've seen have never done anything for me personally. Not that I have seen many, except in movies. Not interested. I like muscles just fine though, just not the very muscular, super cut and shaved look. I don't know about the dad bod stripper joint going out of business, I know a lot of women that like strong dad bods. Nothing wrong with strong cuddly bears. Maybe the soft out of shape dad bods though wouldn't be popular.

why is the burden of abstinence always on the man? If the man absolutely does not want children then yes the burden is on him. Because after they have sex his choice is over. If she gets pregnant she can choose to have the baby or have an abortion. He cant make that choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 08:48 PM

I'm pro choice but I don't think I could ever have an abortion. It's a difficult choice to make and not all woman can go through with it, if the dad want's the child or not.

Lol we definitely have friends we don't find attractive. One of my ex had these traits, he was rather short but I was attracted to him even though he was not conventionally attractive. I have a friend that is (5'6) and he never had any problems with women. He's married now with kids. And no he's not rich. One of my girlfriends has never had a boyfriend that is taller than her and she's about 5'7. I don't know if she likes smaller guys or just falls for guys that happen to be on the shorter side.…

What I'm pointing out is that women do not hate nice, funny and smart men. They just don't. Just because they are not attracted to some men that have those traits does not mean they hate them. Not being attracted to someone does not mean they hate them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 10:14 AM

That doesn't mean that women hate nice, kind and funny guys. These traits are a must for me and many other women. But there is more to it then that. That's just the baseline. There needs to be more, some attraction, shared interests, interesting personality for example. It's weird women don't even want to be friends with you. My girlfriends and I have all kinds of male friends. I've never thought about basing my friendships on looks. I'm sorry you haven't found your person. I hope you find her.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 01:07 AM

Yes because all women go for drug dealers and gang members... Saying women hate kind, smart and funny men is simply wrong. Some women may be attracted to some other traits but that doesn't mean they hate all other men that don't have those traits. I've never been attracted to insecure and needy men, it doesn't mean I hate them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 12:58 AM

That's not true. Most women like smart, funny and nice guys. These traits are a must for me. I've never been attracted to a guy that didn't have these traits.

I haven't seen many call him ugly. They're just not attracted to him. I can see this man is good looking but I'm not attracted to him. I don't like to judge who he is as a person because I don't know him but his vibe is completely off for me.

What hoop jumping are you talking about. I don't think she had any hoops to jump through. Do men jump through hoops to try and convince women that they need to raise another women's child because they are irresponsible? Why are single parents irresponsible? Some are widows/widowers or divorced. What is irresponsible about that?

My brother has always been very popular with women. Like crazy popular. He started seeing a single mother. He treated her daughter like his own and loved her so much. They broke up after some years together. And now my brother is married to an other woman. My brother continued to be a great father to the daughter though. You don't divorce children and all that. This makes sense, I'm sorry you have to feel this way. It's not fair and you do not deserve it. It sucks that you had to learn to be careful, carry yourself a certain way and behave in certain way so people wont be afraid of you just because of the color of your skin. I don't know. Of course it's more important that they feel safe that the guy himself will not hurt them but women feeling safe from other men can be important to. I think it depends on the area people live in. If it's a dangerous country or a city with a lot of street harassment and catcalling, I could see women go for a big guy knowing that other men wont mess with them. Hey Jack Black does not deserve this. I think Jack Black is really charming and attractive. He is so funny, has amazing voice and a cute face. He's to old for me though. I'm a single, childless woman, not 45 though but the rest fits. I'm choosing not to date right now. After work I like to take my dog out, read, watch tv, work out, meet friends or family or something. Maybe take a nap if I feel like it. I like cooking and sometimes I invite family or friends over. On weekends I like to go out in the countryside, let my dog run loose. Then I read, watch TV, do my hobbies, meet friends or family. I actually think a lot of people think like that. At least the people around me. Maybe it's a cultural difference. For example if I talk about the diamond thing, in my country we usually have pretty simple wedding bands, we don't do the hole engagement with a diamond ring thing. Usually there is just one ring for the engagement and the wedding. Yeah sure there are probably a lot of women that would like expensive jewelry but there probably are more that don't care that much.

Trans or not, person presenting as a different gender face different and unknown challenges and that is very difficult. A lot of trans people are in the closet so the same applies as with Norah.

There are many trans women that talk about the shock they had when they finally presented as a women The misogyny, disrespect and treatment was really hard for them. Many trans men talk about men all of a sudden treating them better, listen to them and respecting their opinion in the workplace. You get used to a certain treatment and behavior so when that changes it's always a shock. It's sometimes difficult to see the other side until you live it yourself.

I don't agree with that. Women come in many sizes and shapes. Many women with big breasts are overweight sure. But it depends on the fat distribution, many bigger girls have small breasts as well. These are all things women can do, many of them I have done. I'm not a husband or a father obviously and I don't have children. Other then that, yeah, I've done most of this. I live in a safe country, don't need a man to protect me, wouldn't need a man to discipline my own children. If anyone would brake into my house I wouldn't want my husband going out there to be hurt or killed.

One is personal the other is not. Personal dating life and taxes is not the same, like at all.

Yeah and again a lot wouldn't. You know what they say about assuming right?

So you're not attracted to the gay lonely man so you shouldn't have to be with him right? The same goes for women. Yeah if you wanted to be with him you should, if you don't want to, you shouldn't. Again, same goes for women.

Yeah a lot of women would do that and a lot of women wouldn't. Just like a lot of men would sleep with a woman just because she's hot. So?

Uhh I do that plenty of times for my friends that are interested in dating and meeting someone, both for girl and boy friends. What's your point? You were answering someone that said he would not get intimacy from her because she was not attracted to him. Comparing that with poor people.

It's a dog for me but otherwise I agree with you.

So if there is a very unattractive lonely gay man, should you be forced to be intimate with him?

Why would she want to have sex with a man that is boring, stupid and doesn't shower? I don't care how hot a guy is, if I don't feel a connection with him I do not want to have sex with him.

I wouldn't help them with physical intimacy. That's a really bad analogy. People shouldn't be physically intimate with people they don't feel attracted to. Attraction can grow when you get to know a person but that is just a photo and we don't know that man.

Yeah or you have confirmation bias

Maybe he is attracted to them even though you find them bland or unattractive? In my experience women are not really holding out for anything. I'm not, I'm happily single and kind of feel like for me to be interested in dating anyone he has to be great. Or I would have to fall really hard for them. I'm attracted to very funny, outgoing and super kind guys for example, and I don't think I can compromise on that. I just feel like I enjoy my own time and being single so it would have to be with som…

I don't think people hit a wall. I have a coworker, she has three kids, she met a man with 2 kids. They are engaged now. I know so many stories where "older" women both with kids and without look good, feel good and get a partner

What is with this rating thing? Do people really rate each other? I've never thought yeah this guy is a solid 8 or damn that guy is a total 4

Because he sounds cold, unfeeling and calculating. Consider himself to be a gift to women. Has negative views of people around him and view women as pitiful charity work. And he uses women to escape his boredom with no regards to their feelings, needs or wants.

So asexual, aromantic and possibly narcissistic sugar baby?

Thank you. I agree, so rude and disrespectful. Why make a comment like that? I don't think it's that rare to be with someone more or less attractive then you. My ex for example became handsome when I got to know him. He's super funny, kind and charming. He's still my friend and his wife is a friend too. Some people just start to be good looking when you get to know them. It can go the other way to, some really handsome guy/gal becomes unattractive when you get to know him. I've met plenty of tho…

A lot of people didn't understand why I was with my ex boyfriend. Once we were out dancing and this stupid guy came over to me when my boyfriend went to the bar. He said my boyfriend must be loaded (he was not, we were just broke kids in school). When I asked why he would he think that he said it was because I was so beautiful and he's so ugly so he must have money. When I got mad he said relax it's a compliment. I was like really? Me being shallow and greedy or my boyfriend is ugly? Which one i…

Sure. If he's a good and active dad I wouldn't have a problem with it. If he's a deadbeat dad, no way.

We're talking about parents of school age children not when the kids are home all day every day. Of course it's more work when the kids are home during the day.

I'm not dissing stay at home parents. I know it's hard work. But working parents run a household too. And to someone who mention that it was good to have a parent that wasn't too tired to be with them. The few stay at home parents I know aren't any less tired then the working parents I know. Where I'm from it's rare to be a sahp. Kid's go to kindergarten to socialize and they learn a lot there. I used to work as a kindergarten teacher and the kids usually loved it there and didn't really want to…

Yeah, there is something wrong if people don't have any empathy. Of course it makes people feel bad when they hurt other people. I hate rejecting guys. I hate it when guys I'm not interested in show interest in me because I don't like hurting their feelings. Also I have never gone on a date just to boost my ego and I have a lot of girlfriends and I've never heard of any of them doing that. I've never heard of anyone doing that.
