I remember reading somewhere that the most common profile of an online commenter is to be male + unemployed.

I'm not a feminist though. And I'm not against criticism, I'm against generalization and mischaracterization. Also who do you think I'm referring to when I said chronically online extremists? I feel like you took that personally when I was talking about the people on the articles you linked.

I was referring to the "feminists" you talk about. Most feminists are normal people that mean no harm. Defensive much?

You do realize most people irl aren't chronically online extremists?

This is generalizing both sides so much though.

The vast majority of people are genuinely good, perhaps stupid, but good. Exactly this. OP is so brainwashed it's crazy.

Prison is pretty much a survivor of the fittest place in this regard. If this Minnesotta man you're talking about was stabbing innocent kids at a river, don't expect anyone to have any kind of respect for him. People in prisons are humans too. A father who killed an intruder to defend his family will be treated with respect; a child killer won't. I don't even think this is a matter of being a man or not. It's just more frequently directed towards men because it puts them in a position of submiss…

They banned me too lmao, when I asked about the reasons for the ban I got an automatic 28 days time-out. I'll be sticking to r/Damnthatsinteresting anyway.

I think growing up as a boy is easier. Having a son is also easier than having a daughter. Also stop taking yourself so seriously, you're 15. Play videogames, sports, watch anime. You're full of hormones and emotional imbalance. Make use of your energy and make the best of yourself.

I guess OP is also a teen because if not then Idk why they're taking a discussion in r/AskTeenGirls seriously. Not that they cannot be reasonable, but there's just so much to learn for them.

I really couldn't careless about a subreddit for feminist r/offmychest isn't even a femenist- not even a political sub...

I got autobanned from r/offmychest. Apparently one of their mods dislikes this sub for some reason. I joined r/TrueOffMyChest short after that.

Met a girl that used to say she hates men pretty often. She was a piece of shit. I cannot even explain how much pain and emotional exhaustion I went through because of her.

What's the difference between getting a restriction order and that from the victim's perspective? I'd say that in most cases the result is essentially the same, unless the psycho wants to mess with the authorities, to do that one would be too crazy or too stupid since you'd be the first suspect if something happened.
/r/MensRights23/11/20 02:06 PM

IMO a monetary compensation and a restriction order would be a better option than just throwing her in jail. Just saying, I'm not an expert either. :P

In my opinion 20 years is going too far, but why the fuck would they give her only 6 weeks?

Also, your father forgot that most rapists are someone the victim knows beforehand

Huh, that's strange. It'd be the other way around for me. Imagine talking to a sex android, that would be awesome! For real though, the difference between a person and a robot would be even smaller, Id take that as something positive.

The right response would be to debunk her sources.

Those two things aren't incompatible. They would be if I said "Most of prostitutes want to be prostitutes...", but I didn't.
/r/MensRights18/04/20 08:55 PM

I didn't say otherwise. 🤔

Most of prostitutes are prostitutes because they need money. Being a prostitute is fast money (not easy money by any means though).

Not the point of the post, but if it was 2016 again I'd do so much stuff better than I did back then. I hate you, 2016 myself.

Not relevant for the post but being blocked is not the same as getting banned, you can still use your account but wont be able to react, comment, or post for like a month. I'm not sure though.

Have you heard of the paradox of tolerance? That's why doing your own thing doesn't apply to those actions. Toxicity is inside the spectrum of stuff that shouldn't be tolerated, and you're contributing to it by shaming people for being themselves. Please check your self-esteem, and work on your mental weakness instead of spilling your salty downvotes everywhere.

Is that one of your default replies? Jeez... Life is better if you just let others do their own thing.

Most of our parents have no idea of what Reddit is in the first place, they're boomers, they use Facebook.

Eh, I feel like most of us just assumed that there's no consequences for being cringey on Reddit so there's no need to hold back either.

It's cringey sometimes, I've been there for a while, but why are you calling it cancerous?

As someone who uses Twitter very frequently, I can tell that Twitter is like the trash can between all the platforms.

I guess you're right, but I still think "abuse" is still not the best way to call it.
/r/MensRights23/10/19 07:38 AM

I don't know if it should be called "child abuse" because it would work exactly the same with adult students. I'd say that "discrimination" would be a better term.

Jeez... I can say that she was not and still is not my type, but she was pretty, and it will feel akward anyway. From what I've read you're probably just a 13-14 year old that still has some stuff to learn. Try watching a little bit less ecchi anime and look for ways of understanding better how the world works. I won't insult you, but really, being harassed is not something you will enjoy if it happens to you someday.

It's not flattering, it happened to me a couple of times when I was like 16. I didn't really mind because of the way I am, but anyone would definitely be uncomfortable with it.

Why do y'all downvote him/her? I know that you would like to ask for the source if it was the other way around.
