I was with an ex who looked at every woman when we walked by them, but me. He used to think he was sneaky too, but it just showed the kind of man he was.

Been through the same thing. Friend disappears from our regular hangouts and suddenly when she appears, it's because things are not looking good with her bf. Thankfully, the trash took itself out by no longer wanting to talk to me so there's that

This is terrifying. He deliberately targeted her knowing she was thrift shopping alone. The audacity of scummy old men

The bible phrase took me out HAHAHAHAH and yes, lost count on the number of times I have seen "Wife | Mother of two | @/richard's" on Insta. Yeah ok, we know who your husband is now, you can get going

Interesting. In my culture, both the boys and girls will have our dad's full name written next to our given names. So it's like _________________ D/O ____________ (father's name).

Blocking people who no longer contribute to our growth in general is therapeutic. From 300+ followers on Instagram, I only have 117 now and they are all people whom I went to high school or college with or know in person. I have removed people whom I am no longer in talking terms to because I do not want them to be prying on my life either. So yes, blocking in general is therapeutic

Thank you for inspiring us with this post. I used to think my life would only be complete with a significant other, but I beg to differ now. While I do go on dates once in a while, I am enjoying singlehood as it grants me the freedom to focus entirely on my goals, health, and future, without a LVM coming to pull my world apart.

I used to feel terribly guilty whenever a man pulled that on me, but thanks to FDS, am quick to catch signs of manipulative behaviour now and know what to do. I used to be passive, but I am no longer that woman. I say no when I have to and refuse to change my decision for anyone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/07/21 11:58 AM

You are right. He kept gaslighting me when I said I only wanted to be friends. He said “I know you don’t care about me, but I care about you.” Gaslighting 101 signs. That was when I knew to distance myself from him for good.

After being introduced to FDS, it's safe to say that I have NEVER chased after any man. If a man takes hours to reply me, I take it as he isn't interested and delete our conversation. Never beg OR chase a man, it only inflates their ego.

They really think having two flags, coupled with their ability to do laundry on their profile is going to give them loyalty discounts on Bumble or something lmfao

I have had men who initially displayed green flags tell me to meet them up for a drink as a first date idea. I immediately ask them AGAIN as to what they are looking for and one said, "look, I just got fresh out of a relationship, so I do not think I want anything serious as of now." so I replied saying, "Yeah, that's too bad you want a woman to hook up with then. Unfortunately, i am not seeking that" and he responded saying, "Who told you I want a hook-up?" None of these which surfaced when I f…

Men would do anything to avoid commitments because hey, they are just tied down with work and university, but put a scene when we start seeing someone else. Make it sense

I agree, I shouldn’t have mentioned that, but knowing that the guy I crushed on was a big mouth himself, I was afraid he would tell him that I crushed on him (he knew and liked me too) before I did, and this guy would come questioning as to why I kept mum when he showed me a picture of his friends and I didn’t say anything about that friend of his and our ‘history’.

This happened to me when I got over my ex. My GPA plummeted in college after we broke-up, but I knew I had to pick myself up and when I did, I got a good progress award for improving the next semester. I hope women don't spend their prime years sobbing over a man who is useless.

I feel you. I cut off a friend whom I had known for more than 10 years too. Somehow after she got into a committed relationship (with a clown who was actively on dating apps), she forgot about my existence altogether. We hardly text and even if we do, it isn’t the same like before. I used to be one with a wide social circle. Now, I can count the number of close friends that I have with a single hand. Somehow, life seems way better that way and that’s because I willingly cut toxic people off.

This happens ALL the time, no matter where you are on the globe. I matched with a man on Bumble many months ago who told me the same story: that he was looking for something serious and wanted to have a meaningful relationship with me. I only continued chatting with him on the app as he made his intentions clear. We met for the first time and he gets ridiculously touchy. Had the audacity to ask me to get down on him, and that too in a PUBLIC SETTING. I refused to when he kept bugging and he got …

Yeah, before FDS, I thought she was stuck in her ways and mildly annoying. Now I am like, "What's wrong in having standards?". Everyone were quick to bash her for her strict requirements, but couldn't care less about the demanding woman who wanted a fair, tall, and "stay home" daughter-in-law. She was the absolute WORST, I am not surprised the son's engagement with the woman his parents settled for fell through.

“Shitty situation or rejection is actually to protect you because you have better and bigger things in store” This needs to be amplified. It has been my mantra since 17 and it will continue to be to remind me that everything in life happens for a reason.

Yes. Bumble specifically asks you for your birthday and birth year, so there's no damn way you could have made a mistake there, even though it states you can't change it once you have keyed in your date of birth. It's like they are deliberately doing this to target younger women. Disgusting.

Yeap, I am going to go with this option. It's better to pretend you are happily taken than to risk being assaulted. Somehow, these clowns fear getting into a tussle with another man.

Beautifully said. This is not about religion and I wholeheartedly agree with that. It’s about most men and their warped sense of thinking under the disguise of ‘religion’.

I belong to the same religion, although I am far from a practicing one. I know what you mean because my parents used to shove their beliefs down my throat. While my father respects my boundaries now and no longer enforces the religion on me, he still polices on what I wear and that’s infuriating. Now, I don’t wear skimpy clothes or anything of that sort, but he doesn’t allows me to head out without covering my shoulder for I would attract the “male gaze”. I am glad you understood it is okay to leave and that you would rather be contented with life when on your own than for it to be riddled with never ceasing troubles with a LVM. FDS changed my life and outlook too. I always believed that my life was incomplete because everyone around me had a significant other and I didn't, but this sub was an eyeopener. I came to terms with the fact that there's only one person in this world who can make my life complete and that's myself. If a HVM comes along, …

If I read this garbage in my teenage years, I would have went AWWWWWW over it and probably come up with a hashtag titled #relationshipgoals. Now I am reading this and just did a 360 eye roll. Yikes.

Wished this was ingrained in us rather than the, "there are lots of other fishes out there in the sea". Whenever I dated someone and it went south, I had the mentality that I would find someone better in no time. Now, I am more than happy to be single. If it's aligned in my stars to be with a HVM, I will take it. Otherwise, I am perfectly fine enjoying my own company. I would rather focus on my needs, health, and career than focus on a LVM like no thank you.

Was getting to know a man that told me something similar. That it was great getting laid with me, but I am not the kind he would want to be in a relationship with. Good thing after viewing myself as someone inferior and having a battle going on in my head in getting over him, I finally moved on. Never looked back. Been close to half a year since I last texted him. Hope karma bites him in the nalgas lol

I can feel you. I once went on a date with a boy (calling him a boy because he isn't fit to be labelled as a man) and let me tell you I did not even apply foundation. All in all, it was baby powder on my face, blush on my cheeks, a Colourpop lipstick that I applied on my lips with masacara and eyeliner and he said, "You wear a lot of make-up." That was it, it never progressed

When I was a teenager, I was the clingy one. Boys used to label me as 'clingy' and I admit, I was one. Now I am 24 and every man whom I meet are the clingy ones. I am the complete opposite at this stage and I feel you. I just need some space

More than half of the brown men species are like this. So it's not surprising but if the tables are turned, being a non-virgin for a male is suddenly something to brag about. Absolute retards
