It was a pretty straight forward question that I felt was appropriate because your description of a psychiatrist's office is wildly different from my experience with them. Virtually every piece of material they had in the place was provably alienating for male clients. Does that mean it was written specifically for women? Because while I see how a lack of material for men is an issue in a rape crisis center, I think it's easy to see how it came to be. I asked because I found his characterization of psychiatrist offices to be laughably overdramatic, and bordering on paranoid. I regularly see a female psychiatrist, who is part of an all female practice (at least I don't recall ever seeing a man working there) and I have never experienced anything like what he described. 2	"Women are used as sex symbols"? How about "People are used as sex symbols"? A large collection of how males are represented in the media I wouldn't call this oversexualized. The things that make him attractive are the same things that allow him to kick ass. That kind of body isn't realistically attainable, but neither is being the God of Thunder. 0	Oxford has changed the definition of a rapist. This is a step in the right direction! The Oxford English Dictionary defines words based off of how they are used in the English language. As a word's usage changes, the definition is changed as well. For example, the OED describes the usage of the word "good" as an adverb as well as a noun and adjective, even though it's not technically correct. 0	Lesbian couple purposely create a child who is deaf. Their son must now go through life without one of his senses because they believe deafness is a special "cultural identity." It's not a choice between being deaf or not being deaf though. It's being deaf or not existing. If they picked a non-deaf sperm donor, then half the child's DNA would be different, and the child would be a totally different person.
