Yep, their bullshit only survives in an echo chamber. So they cut out anyone who doesn't agree, and surround themselves with woman who as well toxic and delusional as they are.

This post resonates so much, like everything you said feels like my own story. My parents and her parents both often mentioned how much more I did as a parent and spouse than the men did in their generation. Yet, it feels like it's never enough, and it's hardly appreciated. Wondering if it's a generational thing... Millennial by chance? Mine left me, convinced herself I was the problem. She even stopped venting to her friends because they would tell her she is being ungrateful and doesn't recogn…

I thought I wanted to get married. What I realized, is I was just the guy doing her parents a favor by moving her out of their house and into mine. The hindsight is brutal, so many red flags were ignored. Blinded by pussy and the chase for the "American dream", a functional family with some kids. I brought everything to the table, she brought a fork and an appetite.

3x divorced, it's time to write-off woman altogether and consider a dog or a cat for companionship moving forward.

This. As a manager, I walk on egg shells with my female direct reports for this. Sadly, they know they have that power too and take advantage of it.

I'll never forget being in a meeting discussing a potential promotion of a direct report to manager. My director shut it down, and they literally said "If this guy can't manage his home life, he isn't equipped to be a leader". Granted the director was LDS which enough said there, very anti-divorce no matter what type, but it blew my mind this poor guy lost out on a promotion because he was going through a divorce. He was ready, truly a good person. I tried to fight it, but director had the ultim…

I'd be in prison if this was my situation.

Imagine, if the roles were reversed and you were the high income earner and she was looking for work. I'd be real curious if the judge issues the same decisions. It's a flat out fact men get fucked in divorce, just another example of many that prove it.

Hey good on you. I just can't grasp paying out the massive cash I had to again, when I wasn't the cheater and am still the far more involved parent. All marriage taught me, was you can do all the right things for the right reasons, and still have someone you trusted wreck your financials for their own selfish gains. I wasn't a spouse, I was their investment and divorce was their way of cashing out the investment.

You would knowingly do it again? Make that make sense, I can't fathom it.

I agree with OP. I'll never understand all these folks who experienced divorce, and they are immediately dating again. I've never been happier with a thriving career, a dog and a big garden. I know I won't fuck over myself.

This resonates big, you aren't alone. Luckily mines still employed. But everything you said about the looks, attraction, shitty sex, and motivation hits home. I'm in my mid 40's and still carved out of wood, with alot of effort. Wish mine was as motivated. Hang in there.

Imagine for a moment, the story remained the same but the genders of perpetrator and victim were reversed. Holy shit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
