-20	Most people taken out of Africa during the slave trade were men. However, according to some people, it was really women who suffered the most because they were left behind and had to pick up the slack without their husbands, fathers, and sons around to help provide for them. Maybe some women had slaves but who wrote the laws on slavery? Men. Majority of slave owners were men. The slave trade was mostly organized by men. You can say Queen Elizabeth 1, but the fact still remains that it was mostly men organizing it.
