Kids without dads are the ones who are over represented in the prison population. Probably still maladjusted if they don’t have moms, but it’s harder to control for it. I would think that being fatherless would lead most often to a lack of emotional control, while being motherless would lead to a lack of healthy emotional release leading to explosions. The difference between a light trigger finger and going ballistic.
