I've had a few multi-year relationships which I have ended. The women have wanted to stay with me. I only get into relationships if I have the upper hand. It really doesn't make sense to get into one if you don't have the upper hand. Also, I have cheated a ton and had plenty of other few-week-long or one night stand relationships.
