Let me just give you a better script. You: "(Name), we gotta do something crazy!" Them: what's that? You: "we have to save the frogs from the chemicals in the water!" Also - if you can't measure the thing you are trying to improve the "self improvement" you are following is bullshit (e.g. trying to improve how much you love yourself). Only work on things you can measure - how many pounds you can lift, how fast you can run, closing ratio, how much money you earn, etc. Anything else is snake oil that is made to make money off your good intentions.
